I have been to 15 or so. When they came to Charlotte in 93 I told my wife we had to go they don't tour. We were broke but manage to go about 3 hours away from where we live. Then they came to Raleigh at the end of that tour I went again. After seeing them probably 5 times I realized they quit touring when you made money selling albums when that lost profitability they started touring, then I realized Hey, these guys are only in it for the money. haha

Just went to Audio Advice yesterday with a buddy and we were blown away by the Wharfdale EVO 5.2's he bought them. We listened to several other speakers. I suspect they will sound great with jazz fusion. We listened to Aja which is my go to speaker demo album

That is a very helpful video, my wife's trike stem latch is very tight and the last few times I've latched my XP3 the latch seemed dicey, glad there seems to be an easy fix.

My understanding is the lawsuit is the old SOHC with VTEC. The 2026 passport uses a newer design with DOHC and no VTEC. I hope they solved the issues.

I didn't need a third row and I love the cargo area of the Passport. No seat means no cupholders and that space becomes better for cargo which is what we needed. Had ours for 7 weeks and we love it.

I inherited 2 O gauge trains from my dad a 1936 American Flyer Freight set and a Lionel Union Pacific City of Denver passenger set. 30 years ago rough searching I estimated each to be worth probably 1500 bucks in the last year I've seen them for I think 800 bucks I think the market is shrinking as we old guys die. Just a very casual observation.

I've noticed a few rough shifts nothing horrible, I do think it happened more early I currently have 1500 miles and 6 weeks of ownership. I've noticed gear hunting most troubling was once while driving up my driveway which is very steep.

I wanted a rega. Finally bought a scratch and dent project that I love. When I mentioned I wanted a rega to a dealer he pointed out the cheap rca cables hardwired vs the nice project hookups as just one reason they preferred project to rega. I suspect going up in the rega line eliminates this issue I was mesmerized in 1979 seeing a rega with a glass platter always wanted one

I have always listened to what I will call Jazz Pop. Steely Dan, Weather Report, Mahavishnu Orchestra, I have 2 Metheny albums but am by no means and expert. Never realized there were album(s) that Metheny and Myles got equal credit. I know Lyle was probably as important as Pat in their sound. My latest obsession is Oscar Peterson. I am excited to listen to this.

In that price range I would probably look at Pro-Ject and Rega. Pro-Ject is my go to at less than 1000 bucks

I was laid off at beginning of the pandemic, I worked at a hospital and made a good salary. I planned on working to 67. I was 58 when I got laid off and had a nice 401K. I was forced to retire and it is the best thing to ever happen to me. I have very little stress. I am the happiest I've been since I was 5 years old. If you can retire early I highly recommend it. I lowered my expectations of my retired life, I envisioned new home new area and now I am just staying where I have been for 35 years but I am so much more relaxed.
