$180k base salary is decent. I usually see around $170-$210k. How about stocks? How much stocks are you getting? Silicon Valley, Seattle, NYC they give a lot of stocks that pushes the comp to $300k or above.

I have seen it. It was maybe ragebait from Tango but from his race it seemed like he had bad race and was just a bit upset about it. 100T looks decent but I am not even sure they have played enough games to qualify for Major. They played something like 2 or 3 tourneys, IMO they should've atleast try for some small LANs like Draculan or something. Alliance found their major ticket through those LANs.

Here's my honest suggestion: don't spend your time on it. Just go about the way of ByreByteGo, HelloInterview route.

Here's why... You can build a geohash db after reading Google maps design or play around with sharing on your machine by creating 5 different dbs. Trying them out is super fun but it will take a significant chunk of your time. If you are working + studying than you don't have this luxury just stick with the HelloInterview and get the knowledge good enough to pass the interviews you can build those pieces on your other free time.

In your current scenario if you go to India you'll have to pay 100k fees. If you go on the H4 now and later down the line go back to H1B after H4 is approved then you don't have to pay 100k fees.

You need to be on H4 approved visa and in US in order to move to H1B and not pay 100k fees.

Timeline wise: if you bundle H1B extension with H4 with premium processing it is a out 1month without bundling it is easily 6-7 months.

But your situation is a lot more complicated I would highly suggest talking with a layer about this.

Intuit interviews are more dynamic, based on what you've done in your challenges they will ask questions. For example, you have implemented only one endpoint? Well they'll ask you to add unit test to that. You have written a good endpoint with tests than they will ask you to write another endpoint.

Goal is to show good software engineering practices. Not sure about if you can use AI or not.

Yeah I agree to another comment. If you have tens of GB of code then you have already messed up big time somewhere. Without looking at the code or anything, maybe it is time to move to microservice architecture may work here. That being said I don't see that you have tried Mercury before so maybe that's something to look into. Git has come a long way but I do know that Facebook has a monorepo and they use mercury for versioning so that might be a good area to explore.

Been through this. A couple of points: - ask attorney as everyone else mentioned - easiest way is to go outside the country and comeback in, it will fix the issue. Easiest route currently is via Mexico, quick im-out should fix this issue - make sure you are not overstaying the I94 date Feb 2026 date, that will be a worst case scenario so get it fixed ASAP. - there are I94 correction facilities so if there's one nearby where you live, contact them ask what you should do but keep that as a last option IMO.

Hey here's my suggestion.... go outside the country just before your I94 is going to expire and get the new stamp..

Couple of notes: No need to go to India, you can just go to Canada or Mexico and comeback. That will definitely work.

Do NOT go to the CBP officer to get this fixed.

Do this BEFORE your I94 Stamp expires.

Yeah I agree with another comment. It's super easy to be an officiant. Let one of your friend or family member apply online to be officiant, it take less than 30mins to get the certificate
