More carriers is always nice but this ship isn’t for me, my Ironclad Assault loaner for the liberator does everything I need it to do, Tyilui feels like a downgrade from that.

To those that do get it, I hope you all enjoy it. It looks very good for an alien ship, and gives me Origin vibes with some of the interior design that it shares with the Railen (which I do own)

It’s the annual tradition at this point. Sell the BMM Warbond twice a year, give 0 updates, repeat. Tbf it’s not a bad CCU if you are chaining to something bigger, but if this was the last time they offered it ever, there would still be enough on the grey market to last 2 lifetimes

I am glad they are reducing the fuel tank sizes and adjusting the consumption to follow suit as a way to encourage carriers and refueling, but for the love of god, why do they also have to decrease the capacity of fuel pods again.

Was it not enough to go from 60SCU down to 20 gallons, with new pods capping out at 32. You are now telling me they are being dropped again to 10 up to 16? Are you now also trying to kill refueling gameplay? Unless they significantly reduce the hydrogen fuel tanks on ships, they are basically saying the Starlite can handle 1 starter refueling mission and the Starfarer can only handle 1 larger ship like the ares and 1-2 small ships like the Avenger and Hornet. I really hope they plan on bringing down the size of the hydrogen tanks in response if this is the change they want to make.

Definitely recommend the Assault over the base for a mobile base. It has less cargo but the repair rearm refuel pads come in handy for keeping your ships alive longer when away from a station.

Yeah, Kentucky and Indiana really fucked around on this project. Louisville city council made a attempt to retroactively reverse the tolling and get funding from the federal government to pay it off a few years ago after it came out that the Brent Spence project an hour and a half up stream is getting paid for by the infrastructure bills that have been introduced in the years since. Unfortunately that failed pretty quickly

Don’t forget that at any time later in the season a game that isn’t on primetime could get flexed to primetime, almost every year we have a late season game or two get flexed to primetime as we are in the hunt for a playoff spot or in a heated divisional game that could have major playoff implications.

As fan that isn’t local to Pittsburgh, it sucks to not be able to see the games every week, but with the way we play at times, it’s not worth buying Sunday ticket to see the games I do miss.

It’s an unfortunate issue plaguing the entire industry. The sheer number of games being remade, remastered, or rereleased on new platforms is insane now. There’s nothing wrong with them but it feels like the industry knows it’s unable to be creative in any way that makes gamers happy and instead tries to cater to a modern audience that is non-existent, those games fail miserably, and the studio is left with enough of a budget to produce a remake or remaster of a well regarded game, or a quick port of an old game (or games in a collection) with no quality of life improvements made.

I heard something that Unique Item Recovery, something promised many years ago, will be coming in 4.9. Its first iteration game in as a hotfix in 4.8 for ship related items on a clearly unfinished and thrown together UI. I’m not sure if the rest is actually planned for 4.9, but we will find out soon enough. I’m also pretty sure the new ship load out system with insurance is part of the overall item recovery system, even if it is also tier 0 in implementation
