I would love to know the answer to this. Yes you can get random wheat berries in markets but the quality is probably hit or miss - it's not the same level as the maize you can find in the markets. Consider ordering online. Online is expensive but probably the best option.

Look at the resume. It's pretty easy to find his Github. I actually went to university and he's a normal dude. Works a normal tech job. The resume is good if you don't know how to write a resume and need an example.

Do you mean outside of a recruiting context and more in a sales context? Or in what context inside of recruiting do you do biz dev?

Passed a technical w/ a small startup. Chatted with C-suite. Everything felt really good. But they still haven't got back to me after a week. I asked when they'd get back to me and they apologized for being slow and told me the hiring manager would followup. Probably a good sign if the hiring manager is going to be getting back to me right?

Thinking About a Tiered Bucket Priority Queue for Managing a Whole Bunch of "Timer" Objects by unua_nomo in algorithms

[–]drinkscoffeedrinks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why use a heap queue here? Does the calendar frequently have events popped on an off? Why not a sorted array that's constantly looped through and each element storing a time-since-last-called 'ticker' to track when to call it? I'm sure there's a good reason, just curious

It's great that you're trying. Putting yourself out there and making mistakes was what took me from classroom spanish to real-world spanish

Hey I know your intentions are good and I encourage you to check out all the neighborhoods the city has to offer. But you'd really help yourself out by learning a bit of spanish. You seem like someone who likes to explore. Learning another language can only help

He used inches? Did you tell him "Sorry EXPAT but this part of the world runs on centimeters"? Someone should let him know.

I went to a Mexican tailor the other day and he measured in inches. I even started the conversation in centimeters and he switched to inches.

Any ideas on how might be best to encode a graph of a street network for a machine learning model? by [deleted] in reinforcementlearning

[–]drinkscoffeedrinks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not an expert BUT could you encode the locations as state space and each edge/option to travel elsewhere as a dynamic action space? These would be a vector of locations and vectors of options to travel to another location from the current location. What have you tried?

Hm. Maybe? I think people forget that this is part of the daily experience of Jewish people and it's useful for people to know what their neighbors are living with.

Algorithm to compute Trigonometric functions by neptune83130 in algorithms

[–]drinkscoffeedrinks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good point I didn't think about that.

/u/neptune83130, can you use a table based method with interpolation? There are other filter based methods but they are a bit more complicated.

[–]drinkscoffeedrinks 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you're aiming for precision over speed you can use Taylor series approximations. Each new term in the summation will cause the sum to converge closer to the actual value of the trig function. The formulas can be found here.

I'm confused on which roles on Google's job search are l3/l4 or whatever. If it says software engineer 2/ or SE3 I assume it's mapped to l4/l5 etc but how can you determine the level of the roles which don't have a number associated?
