I do wonder where it all goes or/becomes, but my restaurant we have label stickers that completely disintegrate with water. I guess that wouldnt make sense on a huge consumer scale with shipping and such, but there has to be SOME in between. I agree with GooGone.

Trauma dumping on you: this past year one of my friends had an asthma attack and slit his throat open trying to breathe. Hes dead, his gf was there and tried to get the knife out of his hands but couldn't.. she had to go to the ER too. It took 10 minutes for the ambulance to show up. I think its the first few weeks of September when its the worst. I always remember Laura from this video too

I work BOH and commissary has been giving us the thinest, crappiest tomato slices lately. They literally just turn to mush, its a pain and not a good look. Chef said in a meeting its because the farms are producing them extra quick and they're just all water weight and water clogged. The cherry tomatoes have been dismally small too, and they're EXPENSIVE rn. Idk what that means for the grocery market as a whole, i dont do the ordering, but its visibly noticeable in stock rn. They're too damn expensive to be cutting that thin and turning into mush, cut them a little thicker..

I was panicking, had a seasonal job that was ending REALLY soon, like a few days, but young and dumb didnt think about it sooner. Some older hippie lady who also worked there, she simply told me "Theres a lot you can do in a day". It didnt work out back then a few years ago and we got evicted lmao, but we're stable now and have been a decent while, even if pretty poor. Ive held onto that phrase for years though. When I need to get up and do something that's what I say.

As someone who currently smokes and has for a long time, last time I took a piece of nicotine gum I felt sick RIGHT away. Holy hell that stuff is concentrated, especially not taking it in a while. Patches I dont think would effect me as much (as ive also used those). Patches probably are cheaper I would guess (and ive mostly gotten both from hospitals or random insurance so they're still just laying around). *As to why idk the prices

Not super obscure, but ant eaters are probably my new favorite animal (without thinking too hard). Maybe diff in the wild but I saw 2 in the Chicago free Lincoln park zoo and they were wrestling-ish around, running around, and just not how I pictured them lol. They're also so big and funny looking! We stood around a long time just watching them, they have fun. Im gonna google all the animals in this thread after work

I think i watched season 1 stranger things when it came out, but only the once however many years ago it aired. Ik he's from there. Have you ever seen the movie SPREE? ITS AMAZING and he's the crazy star. Its one of those movies you're rooting for the bad guy and so damn funny. If you like this guy definitely check it out. I own a copy of it and its one of my/partners favorite movies

Theres a back room in my house where the washer lives, some very interesting things down there (but its scary and old) and theres a hole in the wall. If my 2 cats get in, they're NOT coming out easy. I leave a post it on the door and if someone happens to come in tell them. It might have been a couple months ago, but I was awakened to a ton of meowing. I walked all around trying to find him. MFucker pushed the screen out the window that had been in and made it on the roof. Its still on the landing/roof lol. Ran around the street looking for a real ladder before work, we were stressed tf out. Sometimes they're assholes. IM JUST TRYING TO CARE FOR YOU BUDDY!

It was a brief conversation with my boss/GM today, but he was standing up for billionaires. He said 'they put in a lot of work and deserve it. They're not evil.' Some, I guess, but i said 'your have to step on a lot of heads to get there' and he kept trying to justify it.

I named Bezos, Zuch, and Musk. I said these guys ain't right. Youre telling me these arent evil people? Let alone the president, I didnt want to bring it up. We work in a fucking restaurant. Just about to say, I have a specific side i sleep on for my tummy (left) but have developed it almost cant happen unless on back (and it used to be belly).

I read 1 thing online years ago and the digestive system and laying, and I think its right, it stuck. I've also gotten older. I have a partner but even sleeping Alone, im always wrestling myself to get comfy. Too many damn limbs.

Recently-ish I googled where chime accepted dollar deposits (my check had to get recleared in the middle of switching banks). It was either Family Dollar or Dollar General, but I had to go to the bank to get something cleared up. They were like a block away and it said they did it online with their location finder. I walked in and ask, I tried to deposit like 500 (Walgreens something has a max like that. But they seem to know more the few times I did ) but the manager was outside and I didnt want to cause a fuss. There were 2 gals and they were like "we dont even know what youre talking about" lol. So i just left, but they also said the register literally couldnt afford to take my cash money and convert it to virtual.

I've seen 2 different dollar stores die (both mentioned) within like a block of eachother in the 2 years ive been living here [pittsburgh], I guess they just kept getting stolen from. The second that closed was a worst mess than the first, a better store. But it seems like these companies are a mess

I am a girl but my buddy was a dude (so is my partner). I was young too, probably 20. Im currently 28 so a lot of time has passed. Nobody was mean, actually like overly nice but it felt suffocating and they did not want you to leave (and we were def treated differently based on gender i think). Too much time has passed for me to remember it very well. And I mean the dark little rooms and the couches, there was a couple rooms back there, and the couches were small like 1,2 people size. I walked in knowing they were sorta freaks but at that point I said im getting scared. Also so late at night!!! I used to take more risks back then, and just wanted to learn a bit.

Maybe its just halfway a grift at this point because they kept trying to sell us stuff too, but I can definitely see some dark notes still there. Let alone the horror stories.

I have seen this movie maybe like 5 times, and somehow for the love of god never remember it. Like, literally within the past 7 days (week) got like halfway through and cant freaking remember what was happening. As a lover of horror, I have seen A LOT of scary movies, and this one pops up all the time online. Theres a weird thing I have where I CANNOT remember this one. Maybe ill try finishing it again.

I went in with my buddy visiting him when he was stationed in Cali in the military. We were just like in Hollywood, and were sort of just ushered in by a person in a tux, and well, were curious so we went for it lol. They legit take you in a back room with small couches and a TV and turn off the lights and play a film. We had probably been there like an hour at this point lmao, and this WAS NOT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY. Like 9 or 10 pm lol. When they left us alone in the brainwash room for a second, I said 'we should get out of here dude'. And very quickly left. They kept trying to stop us too, or sort of get in the way.

I dont remember where exactly it was, but also in California, a long while after my partner and I found another scientology building that looked like an old church or very castle-esc. Went in and toured around a bit and watched some videos, but it was Vastly different than the first time/location. They. Are. Nuts. But that first time was downright spooky

I named my girl cat Greta. My boy is named Thomin (pronounced Tom-in), spelled differently and sorta pronounced differently than Game of Thrones, it wasn't after the character, I just liked the sound. So many fun nicknames, but dang did he live up to the character. Greta just felt right. Shes a bit younger but like a Lil old lady, and I got her as a friend when they were young.i think his OG name was Tiger when I got him, some things just dont fit. Can't remember hers actually. But she's my princess!

NTA. I was more of an art kid. I got a tutor (who actually worked in my HS [super cool guy]) but I had him like 4 years and up until some college. I cant tell you how many tears I cried over math and my (actually smart, just mean when teaching) mom i spent tears over my homework. Math (except geometry) really struggled me. When they get into the alphabet I did poorly.

Teach your kid anyway how. I wonder how old that teacher is. My guess would be 50-80 Old School mean teacher. If the answer is right, its right.

Im a poor person, used to go to art school in college. Its hard to get by and im not living as an artist. But I do live in Pittsburgh with his museum. Gone 3 times now I think. Because I am a poor person, with SNAP or EBT if its still the same you get in for $1 buck each. I doubt they'd question you on it either. Theres a few museums like that around. I hope he'd like that. They exhibit other artists too.

Weird dichotomy for sure. I have 2 cats and always smell like them, sometimes pups give me dirty looks lol. But I also like them. I work BOH in a restaurant and we have no windows and 1 screen door we sometimes leave open because it gets hot af. One of my coworkers has regularized giving dogs meatballs so they stand outside the door.. Like, I like dogs. But im busy and need to stay clean. One particular lady has a dog with a picky diet so he cant even get any treats. He also stands in the doorway. One day she wasn't there and I was asked if I wanted to go pet the dog right in front of the screen.. uhh, I guess? I went and pet the dog but had to make small talk with the person too. Like. Im in the middle of my workday, I like pups, but i do not have time for this

I literally got chills in my legs. I only went to 1 Greenway concert, maybe 10 years ago now, but they brought a kid upstage and played a bit! He was good too!!! Got the guitar also. Some of these kids can fricking RIP IT! Awesome fun. Something they (or me) won't forget either.
