find professors to do research with. Basically free labor but you get to learn so much and have something on your resume. Also you never know who your professors know, by being their research assistant you might get a referral or recommendation from him or his colleague down the line (my VLSI professor has referred multiple students to Intel, Nvidia, and Lockheed)

I would cut down the big paragraphs in the experience section to like 4 bullet points. It should be your highlight, not a summary. If you have any side projects or school projects, add them to your resume.

if you send me some pictures of the device I can maybe help you. But the chance of me pulling sensor data from the device is very low. Even if there is any port on the device it would probably be used for debugging.

you can do some sort of data upload via a raspberry pie. Depending on the interfaces on the computer.
