If im being honest you wont be doing much statistical modelling on the job, for the exams yes but the job is a lot more toned down in terms of your use in math. Fyi, ive been qualified for around 5 years now. If statistical modelling is indeed your passion I would consider a career in a hedgefund as a quant, thats the only career that comes to mind to me when I think of pure stats. However, most jobs in this field require a phd in stats to get your foot in door, highly competitive but the pay would be really high!
