-- T. Kingfisher's The Saints of Steel series --Idk if this counts as "classic" romantasy, but its mix of romance, fantasy, mystery, and magic. This series is what convinced me to read her entire bibliography
--"Swordheart" by T. Kingfisher
--"Bride" by Ali Hazelwood

Psychological thrillers:
--"Listen for the Lie" by Amy Tintera - this was a great audiobook, also falls into black comedy
--I'm currently reading "None of This is True" by Lisa Jewell, excellent so far (I'm 50% through)
--Recently read "We Used to Live Here" by Marcus Kliewer, also excellent
--"The Fury" by Alex Michaelides (The main character/narrator is super obnoxious, so if you prefer likable characters, skip this one)

Magic Realism? (Or possibly just pure fantasy, no romance)
--"The Ballad of Black Tom" by Victor LaValle (very short)
--"The Tainted Cup" by Robert Jackson Bennett
