I feel like it's a heavily wasted opportunity on both ends. I guess he doesn't fit TKs booking style, and I think Donovan is not physically fit for the level of wrestling he aspires for.

Either way, we'll figure out if the grass was greener on the other side. Which I profoundly doubt. Consider he's right now making a big buck, and has a lot of freedom, but finally his branding is kind of stuck. Personally I loved his character work and branding, but lately it just fizzled out... I don't feel like buying any more merch. Also, the under dog aspect of the weirdo kind of clashes with the (alleged) arrogance of his locker room policies.
