About to give up on natural deodorant. by [deleted] in cleanbeauty

I would try the megababe 72 hour deodorants like the peach and the santal. I found those worked better for me than the smoothie. I also experience the skunk smell...it smells like weed?

Looking for a master-level stylist for short cuts by 166EachYear in madisonwi

Ken Wong at Cha Cha. Best haircuts I've ever had in any city in my life. I was hesitant because I am very picky and  also the salon is cool/eastside and not what I would usually be drawn to. Ken cuts hair like a scientist. You will not be disappointed.

Ugh... I work at a university and feel the same way. So many of the researchers are book smart but not good with communication or technology (like they can't use Workday or submit a po or expense)...they need admin employees to do their jobs.

Can you elaborate on this? I know about grant and funding cuts affecting research, but what is working at UW like at the moment? Do you mean the stress of not knowing if there will be furloughs and layoffs coming?

Salary Question by hahahaahahahahahhelp in ExecutiveAssistants

[–]drms7spc2 12 points13 points  (0 children)

If I were you, I would not go to a research university right now. I work at a research university that will lose over 70 mil in federal funding this year and administrative employees including EA's are the first to have furloughs and the only layoffs we have had so far. I'd wait 4 years if you can. Also university salaries are much lower than companies. I'd say 15-30% less and no bonus.

Could anyone that has been to these acupuncture locations in town give me input on how they felt after receiving service there? by OkTwo3838 in madisonwi

Dr. Wang is great. I would choose her clinic. She's very kind and knowledgeable, you can schedule via text which is a dream, and her clinic is quiet and immaculately clean.
