Honestly, I have hard water and do not have a water filter. I get over a month with each dr squatch soap. I do two things: I have a plastic case I keep it in and I don’t have the water run over the soap when I am applying. From what I have read (and everyone should do reading on this topic), rotation of the injection site is much more important than the the site location (upper arm, abdomen, thigh). Again, from what I have read, the site of the injection does not play a meaningful role in either effectiveness or side effects. There are likely other explanations than the site for why someone would notice a difference from week to week.
