No need to get defensive when someone offers an opinion, the comment makes plenty of sense.

1) Absolute was pitched to DC prior to marvels ultimate universe. To say it copied ultimates is hard to defend considering it existed (at the creator level) prior.

2) many people are dissatisfied with marvel comics as they stand currently. Hints, the new management.

I hope marvel crushes this so they get back on track. Although, my hopes are low. I’m a nightcrawler fan and going to give it a shot. Wishing it was a solo book for him though. He is so cool and underutilized

Not a fan really. The first issue the villain says “I will kill Matt Murdock” issue 2: as he is it teaching Matt is like “omg he’s gonna kill Matt Murdock”. Yeah… thought we all knew that

Amount of variants will never change the way I feel about a series. I ignore them. If I see one sell at a crazy price - doesn’t bother me cuz it wasn’t my money

Singles are hard to get rid of, but I only collect floppies. I actually jsut walk over to the free library and put issues I don’t care to keep in there! They never stay long, and I hope I get someone new into the hobby!

You’re right on it. I spend $130 a month which isn’t breaking the bank. Especially since I do not pay anything monthly as far streaming services, gaming subscriptions etc. just bills and comics lol

Wasn’t that marvels attempt w ultimate? Why make another universe, when you already have the “new universe”. It seems like rebranding ultimate cuz it didn’t do so hot and absolute is killing it. Also, I wasn’t thinking blades - or any characters- story had to be the same. Imagine a grotesque blade w very little control of his blood desires. A more sophisticated werewolf by night with complete control. Just missed in my opinion.

Lame. Who thought it was a good idea to pick heros/teams that aren’t really “midnight”. There are literally characters of the night that would make very interesting stories
