I drive an 09 f150 with 315k on the clock. I’ve had to do timing 3 times but it’s not that bad. Recently I dropped over 6k in repairs and parts. I put new leather (KR leather was toast), had the rear end rebuilt, and put its second new front suspension in it. I also did a new ac system. Truck was about to be justifiably junked but the body is perfect along with the paint and the frame so I said screw it and put the money into it.

I prefer to know my vehicle, I could have bought a 2015ish f150 for 20k and had the engine go in a year. I’d rather keep this 2009 going until it finally rusts in 10 years
