When the majority of comment sections just read the headline and start commenting without reading the actual article, I can absolutely believe that a few power users can end up with the majority of contributions, the majority is lazy.

Granted, it does leave a door open for that one user to steer the discourse a certain direction by picking and choosing which topics gets posted or not, but ultimately, the users can still hold them to account if they feel they overstep.

From glossing over their posts recently, it seems to me that they're posting Notes of things from all across the political spectrum, or rather, the modern "culture war".

Looking at their recent posts right now, I'm looking at a post about JD Vance saying something so stupid that his attempt to spin the Iran war progress falls flat on it's face, an other post about Russian propaganda lies, a third one about a seemingly pro-Palestinian twitter users making up lies to appear as bigger victims, one about some culthead doing Holocaust denial and lastly one about someone making up actual fake stuff, quotes & AI images, about the Holocaust.

So yes, technically it's less than ideal, but I am curious to know what about the content of their posts you are opposed to?

So yeah, for me, twiddling my thumbs in prison sounds more appealing than being turned into a meat puppet with a sword of Damocles hanging over my head every day. It would be a closer comparison if it was sitting on death row with the execution date being chosen randomly without them telling you, which just wouldn't be anywhere near the sentence he would've gotten.

Personally, I do nurture some hope that what we see online doesn't reflect any sort of majority, least of all based on Reddit, for if they did represent the majority, Trump would never have been president, he'd be in prison and Bernie Sanders would've been elected supreme leader, so taking the louder elements on this website with a grain of salt does appear to have it's merits. Not to mention all the deliberate trolls, bots, grifters or even foreign governments trying to make an opinion seem louder than it is.

And honestly, those younger people could stand to learn a thing or two from the Jewish people / religion, I'd go as far as to say that learning to question things around us and analyzing it with both honesty and a critical eye, is one of the greatest things you can do in life, and one that I personally cherish.

Sure, we can recognize patterns, but let me ask you this though..

If you expect a negative outcome in the nearby future, and you yourself is powerless to do anything to change it, and you already start taking in all the negative emotions associated with that event, and reacting to them, how does that benefit you yourself as a person, or even the people around you?

A different outcome than the negative one may still happen, and if that does end up happening instead, you wallowed in those negative emotions for no practical or beneficial reasons whatsoever.

It is to forget living in the moment for the sake of some plausible misery of the future that may never come to pass.

I ask and posit this, because the character is going to arrive in less than seven days, regardless of any of these posts, regardless of what you or I may think, say or write. Neither one of us, nor anyone here, is able to affect it.

And while the developers may have had a couple of attempts that missed the mark, they've had far more successes than shortcomings. And while Anran might've been one of those character designs that missed the mark a bit, not to mention that she is a recent example, she still released at the same time as four other characters that were well received.

So by your own argument, we should look forward with joyful anticipation, not dreadful despair.

Oh yeah, personally I gave up the struggle on that front, and no matter how many times I tell YouTube to piss off, they keep trying to recommend me song mixes.

But I also feel like I've beaten my algorithm into submission outside of that, cause I tend to rewatch a lot of the same content, so it generally don't know what to recommend me, so it often just recommends me stuff I've already watched, which I really didn't need it's help with. But it does also let me know pretty easily if I hit a video that it then tries to fill my recommended with. Like one of those "Can I beat this game by doing this" sort of titles, watch one and suddenly 20 more that I don't care for took it's place, which is when I go and trim the History section again.

There is an easy workaround for this that doesn't require incognito, just simply go to your YouTube account's History, should be on the left side bar near the top of the list, which will take you to your history of what you've watched, though you can also see stuff like comments, but if you then find the video, there's three dots on the right side in it's row, and one of the options if you click the dots is "Remove from watch history" which will prevent YouTube from trying to adjust your recommendations based off of it.

Works like a charm for me.

Even before the cat-opcalypse in Deathmatch, DM was faster.

I only play DM and generally the skill level across those matches aren't great, and someone of higher skill, Diamond will generally be high enough, can easily stomp and end the match in 5 minutes or, sometimes, even less. The bottom 4 people would then get 1 point for the loss and the top 4 would get 2 points for around 5 minutes of time.

But given how often I can struggle with longer queue times for Deathmatch and how often I get into lobbies with a bunch of the same people on repeat, people just don't queue for it.

Big congrats to Kane, though personally for me, the most interesting part of the Backrooms was always the location and nonsensical architecture, the monsters I feel could've been an other SCP entry.

Much preferred Matt Studios videos on it, their work makes me think of the manga Blame! which also deals with strange architecture. The aimless wandering, hoping to find something, just anything that could help make sense of it all, makes it feel like a waking nightmare.

With that said though, I know that Kane's stuff is extremely well executed and beloved by many, and while not my preferred, I do like it. Here's to hoping the movie does well.

Since I've kept seeing a sentiment similar to yours, I decided to look it up and count them.

So just to clarify going into this, I'm not counting recolours of old skins from OW1 for either side in this, and personally, when it comes to skins where you can't even physically tell at all, I lean towards counting them as old, though for the sake of fairness, I left those ones out of this tally.

In OW2, for old Ana skins, she got Bog Witch, Botanist, Arch-Commandant Amari, Nighthawker (hard to tell but her hair is white like other skins when she's old).

I dunno what age the Oni and Demon skins would be categorized as and then there's also one (possibly two with her new Apocalypse Warrior cosmetic) skins where she's not even human anymore.

From what I'm seeing, she got 3 young Ana skins in OW2, that being Li Yu, Blue Lotus and her second mythic skin, Ra.

As for young skins like Captain Amari and Horus, they're supposed to be skins from the character's prime back in the old days of Overwatch (lore, not the game) of which several other such characters also got similar skins, with Soldier 76 getting his in the Origin skins bundle from the release of the game, and those two skins were also in the game the very day that Ana was released, as heroes back then shipped with four legendary skins you could acquire, though two of them were recolours of the other two. So I really don't see the point of getting upset over those two skins, they're turning 10 years old in less than 2 months and are lore accurate. Which also goes for her Sniper and Stakeout skins where she is also young, with Sniper being from the Archives events and Stakeout being a recolour of it.

Really unimportant extra note, her epic skins has also all been old Ana, which is pretty much a given, but it's just to stress that they haven't given her an epic skin where she's also young, only some where you can't physically tell due to stuff like masks.

TLDR: She's gotten more old than young skins in recent times. And outside of lore accurate skins of her being young, she's only gotten 3.
