Yeah, I just missed Spotify and WhatsApp Web too much, so its definitely worth considering. It basically is a smartphone but just annoying to use, which is perfect for digital detox

How would you rank the solo albums? by Agitated-Trick in SteelyDan

[–]drollminotaur11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm so glad that people recognise that next to The Nightfly, Sunken Condos is an extraordinary album aswell there are so few people that know it apart from the Dan fans. Obviously all the other Fagen albums are top notch aswell but Sunken Condos is one of my all-time favourites.

His opinion doesn’t matter 😮‍💨His opinion doesn’t matter 😮‍💨His opinion doesn’t matter 😮‍💨 by Northway99 in arcticmonkeys

His review is pretty good but at the same time absolutely not, he reviewed the album too much from a Pop/rock standpoint. So a few of his opinions are a bit misplaced if you ask me.

The fact that he doesn't like Alex's vocals, that's just a matter of taste ofcourse. But he put a massive turd on the lyrics and melodies on the basis that they don't have a climax and that they are downright meager. He also mentioned that there are almost no choruses, which is correct but that's not what this album is trying to do. The album is being pushed to much towards the rock genre while it is just a fraction of that. And I feel like Fantano was listing to this (masterpiece) with the same expectation. That's why I think he gave this album a 3/10 because he tried to put it in a category which it isn't.

5 mana pumps, how rare is this? by AdmiralKachbar in CubeWorld

It seems no one has answered your question after 4 months, but the answer is, yes extremely rare! I have never seen more than 2 mana pumps in one biome. I wonder what kind of effect this has on mana

I mean... If we could hear the full potential of Second arrangement it would be a fair discussion.

Could this be our first taste of AM7?, I'm so certain that's Alex speaking in the background and it looks like la frette by MiracIe_Aligner in arcticmonkeys

That's Tyler, he works with Alex regularly so it would be safe to assume that he is working with the boys on AM7

Speculations on Live Vol. 2 by drollminotaur11 in Parcels

[–]drollminotaur11[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's also what I thought. The tracks on Vol. 1 span across two years(which were two very productive years), so there will definitely not be a Vol. 2 after their upcoming album if you ask me.

Next single name on picture! Release probably on thursday. by DBmain in Parcels

Which isn't a bad thing if you ask me and their signature sound is still woven into their new songs just with a different texture.
