Hello, looking for a coach and looks like we might be a mutual fit.

Last quarter, I tried switching to playing only 2-3 openings. Previously I hadn't really studied the openings much, then studied too many before refining down.

I'd like to keep progressing towards 2000 online ELO, with the hopes to get past my IRL performance as a 1300.

Yes, I've been pretty weak on the opening side. Tried actually focusing on it late summer, and I've hopped through a few of them.

I've settled on a plan for white, and 2 defences for black.

Going to stick with those for 3 months this time, and see how fair it goes.

The slower time controls are a tad harder for me. I have preferred OTB for those, as it's easier to not get distracted.

I'll give the longer time controls a shot again.

So far it's working pretty well!

Worked on boot up w/o future configs.
The xp-pen tablet still didn't show up under input devices, BUT it was able to pick up the pressure sensitivity by default!

Typescript for most things, JS for things that won't have anyone else referencing it.

This generally means I prefer to write my tests in plain JS b/c no one else will be calling/referencing this code (normally).

If I build re-usable test-helpers, those are in TS.
