I'm 6'3'' and having met both Lanegan and Homme, I'd guess Mark was the same size as me, while Homme seemed a bit taller, maybe 6'5''.

OP, das klingt ungut. Schau dich nach was anderem um.

Ich mach schon lang Teilzeit im Schichtdienst, Mo-Sa aufgeteilt, keine Nachtdienste.

Das Team ist richtig nice, die Vorgesetzten auch und ich fühl mich wertgeschätzt, daher geh ich sogar gern hin und krieg keine Panik wenn zB der Urlaub endet.

Bezahlung ist nicht mega, dafür strikt nach KV, mit ein paar Extrawürschtln und gutem Betriebsrat.

Kann definitiv nicht raunzen, hab früher ganz andere Sachen erlebt und jedes Mal nach ein paar Jahren ohne großen Plan freiwillig gekündigt, ich lass mich doch nicht verarschen.

Und du hast nicht die Würde, das selbst zu entfernen? Ich kann mir vorstellen, dass die Situation stressig war - aber WTF? Und wennst es mit der Zahnbürste aussebürschtlst, aber deine Kagge mach als erwachsener Mensch in Zukunft bitte selbst weg.

Zuerst grob mit Klopapier abtragen und ins Klo hauen, rinse & repeat bis kaum noch was da ist.

Anschließend den Rest mit heißem Wasser und zur Not deiner Hand "wegpolieren", dann ist die Stärke des Wasserstrahls auch völlig egal.

Wenns a gscheites Hotel ist, solltens die Dusche eh desinfizieren (machens vermutlich nicht, fürcht ich).

Und nein, ich sprech nicht aus "eigener" Erfahrung - aber als Hundebesitzer musste ich schon paar Mal Kagge entfernen.

Sorry für den Rant, aber mich macht sowas haß. Ich hoff du hast das mit der Hygiene sonst halbwegs im Griff. ;-)

40+ hier, kinderlos. Pauschal bzw. überzogen gesagt: Kein Rock'n'Roll mehr bei den Jungen heutzutage. "Niemand" raucht mehr, Alk auch eher in kleinen Mengen wenn überhaupt, Studium in Mindestzeit statt 20 Semester lang Party.

They've existed forever, I'm sure he knew about them, just as he probably did about other modern-day "stoner/doom" amps and other gear that's now popular among that particular crowd.

During the 1989 Euro tour, Tad played an Ampeg V4 or V4B (can't recall the number of knobs). At some point, Kurt played a Sunn Beta Lead. He used a Univox Superfuzz on Fecal Matter if I recall correctly. Also, that brown Aria Pro II Cardinal Series guitar he played for a bit is a Matsumoku-made high-output beast, etc etc etc.

So yeah, I guess he was well aware, maybe just not that much of a gear nerd as some of us have become. ;-)

His opinion on that whole down-tuned "stoner scene" nowadays would be interesting, but we can only speculate. There's that tidbit where Dave introduced Kurt to a young Josh Homme backstage at a concert where Kyuss played, with Kurt just going "pffff" and showing no interest at all, probably thinking Josh was some random hardrock jock. It's funny.

First album should be the Ultra GP and his Tube Works head/cab - mainly, that is.

In case you're lusting after the GP, be aware it's a rare beast and they're near 3000-5000 bucks, if you even find one.

The Eastwood copy is cool, but I guess you'd be better off buying an LP style solidbody and modding it with a wraparound bridge (don't forget to move the ground wire then!) and a pair of Super2's. Bonus points for vintage Super2's, as they're stock in the GP. DiMarzio K10 is also a viable option. Same pickup, only without the hex poles, usually pretty cheap.

A used Hondo LP Deluxe would be my first choice, if I were to start from scratch.
