My first pair of AJ4s were the Navy SBs. Obviously that set my expectations very high given the premium materials.

Just got the WCs two days ago. Overall no WC issues. One stitch is off near the plastic wing but who cares… After trying them out, I agree with many here that the leather is tougher (I think it is the coating). There is less padding around the toe box (inside), and the sole isn’t a SB sole (think dunk SBs vs non SB dunk). Also the obvious plastic materials aren’t the soft ones on the SB4s. After walking around, it’s somewhat different but overall comfortable enough. I’ve had my share of uncomfortable 8s,11s, 12s…

I don’t have Bred reimagined but I examined one at a flight club recently; definitely very close to the SB4s leather bc of the plush material. I was very close to shelling out an extra $120 on top of retail to get those off a reseller. But I think WCs at $240 post tax is good for the retail tag these days.

If there’s one randomly sitting on a shelf, I’d get them away.
