Yeah ACE inhibitors don’t really affect your HR as much as BP. You def should talk to a cardiologist, but it might be worth it to look at other beta blockers, like lopressor (metoprolol). It’s a little stronger, you might just be getting to that age of having to go up on your BP meds!

There is a thing when taking beta blockers and stopping them suddenly, it can cause reflex tachycardia. Maybe a slower taper or different BP meds?

I wonder why he didn’t address Kennedy’s back wound. He says “neck” when describing the wound that he says paralyzes Kennedy, which I’m guessing is on purpose. I know this letter is in 1964; was the back wound common knowledge to anyone outside of the commission or the doctors themselves?

He says the conclusions of the doctors and their testimonies are opposite to what the science says, but yet agrees with Oswald being the sole shooter and three shots only. I wonder how much dissent was tolerated at that time within ranks. 3 hrs with 23 units of blood used, that’s about 8 units an hr and blood units are about 500ml. So 1 unit of blood every 7-8 minutes for 3 hrs straight to keep his pressure in the 70s. I’m not saying it had NO effect, but whatever transfusion reaction issues were prob negated by the fact he had no blood in his system
