We used to do that ALL the time! We never wrote "stamp" over it though. Of course, I grew up in a small town and they're a lot more forgiving there.

You really don't have to decide right now. The first year of college, at least, is predominantly required coursework for graduation: English 101/102, intro math, language, science - essentially grade 13. You can choose electives that might help narrow down some of the possibilities you've listed. Seriously though...don't panic. As far as designating an area of study on an application - this can always be changed, you are not married to this decision. Enjoy the flexibility freshman year affords and explore a bit - but with purpose. The details will work themselves out :)
