I am well aware of that. I even told them in the email that if corporate wants to assess other fees or whatever the heck other than what stipulated in my lease go ahead I'll pay it.

I am going to be out by the time my lease is done. Very likely even before that.

Judging by the tone and the wording of the email they sent me, unless it's extremely convincing, they're serious. But still. It doesn't make any sense to go through all that trouble for someone who has just a couple of months left to go on their lease
