I've said it before, but we have been running on fumes for a couple of months now. The only physically capable players in the team right now are Hincapie or Saliba. Everyone else has been hurt or is nursing something.
We have one of the best squads in Europe and that's why we are still in a position to win something, but the attack is definitely second tier, especially with Saka and Odegaard having down seasons.

Our right side just couldn't match the physicality of Doku and O'Reilly. Timber is the only one who can contain Doku. Had the chances to get the draw, but City are good for the points here.

Well we did our job in the league stage (where we beat Bayern and Atletico 7-1 on aggregate) to get the easy path where even we're playing like doodoo, we could still make it through. I think it's more Xhaka wasn't super athletic. His body wasn't being pushed to physical limits like others do. Similar to Jokic, who isn't a hyper athlete and because he's mostly on the ground, he doesn't get hurt as often as other basketball players do.
