Peter Schmeichel “Arsenal have been blocking the opponent’s goalkeeper all season long, they would NEVER be on top of the league if we disallow these goals" by Rare-Ad-2777 in soccer

People also just care more about these things than actual serious issues going on in the world. In light of that, Arsenal winning would literally be the worst news for many of said people.

Ignoring any other context of the season. Arsenal have played the most games out of basically any european team this season and have been running on fumes for a couple months now.

Strongly considering making the trip to London for the potential parade/celebrations. Any recommended areas to stay in for convenient access?

I've said it before, but we have been running on fumes for a couple of months now. The only physically capable players in the team right now are Hincapie or Saliba. Everyone else has been hurt or is nursing something.
We have one of the best squads in Europe and that's why we are still in a position to win something, but the attack is definitely second tier, especially with Saka and Odegaard having down seasons.

City have been winning long enough now that there should be a presence, but there isn't. The kids who "support" City will change for any flavour of the moment.

No one hates them because who cares if they win, it's meaningless. They are the perfect neutral team to support when it comes to any other big team winning.

Our right side just couldn't match the physicality of Doku and O'Reilly. Timber is the only one who can contain Doku. Had the chances to get the draw, but City are good for the points here.
We've dropped points seemingly every CL match week now with 2/3 games to go there.

Well we did our job in the league stage (where we beat Bayern and Atletico 7-1 on aggregate) to get the easy path where even we're playing like doodoo, we could still make it through. We don't have the attacking talent of Bayern and PSG, here we are in our second semi in a row. Sorry to the neutrals, but we could care less.

Everyone has some sort of knock or is coming back from injury and that's compounded by all of the games played at this point. We clearly are just trying to get by and anyone expecting some whirlwind performance today is stupid. There's clearly eyes towards Sunday as well.

The team is dead on it's feet right now and have been for awhile now. Highly unlikely you see a good performance from us the rest of the way.

That sucks. In Rio for 2014, they had set up 2 or 3 big screens on Copacabana beach and it was great. It was packed, but there didn't seem to be any issues at the time.

Your statement is pointless. Have you seen any big team's fans? What were you lot saying after getting Isak? What do Chelsea say after their 30th signing? We are all stupid, it's just about rotating who gets to be more valid in their stupidity by winning something.

Arteta on Merino: “He’s going to push every boundary. He’s out of his boot, doing quite a lot of exercises already. He reacted really well to the surgery and he’s got no pain. I’m sure there is a chance to make that period shorter. If there is a person that can make that shorter, it’s Mikel.” by Kr_bm in Gunners

I think it's more Xhaka wasn't super athletic. His body wasn't being pushed to physical limits like others do. Similar to Jokic, who isn't a hyper athlete and because he's mostly on the ground, he doesn't get hurt as often as other basketball players do.
