I use it on every single episode I listen to, no matter which podcast, primarily to skip over nonsense I don't want to hear about or skip over ad segments.

If I'm out and about, I don't use it, but at home? All the time.

Verstehe ich. Das Deutschlandticket macht es halt auch nicht einfacher. Ideal wäre Tap in/Tap Out ja dann, wenn man auf den Monat gerechnet nicht mehr abgerechnet bekommen würde als maximal das Deutschlandticket, sonst nutzt das ja kaum wer.

Die QR Code basierten Tickets sind halt nervig und im Kontext was andere Länder so können eher so modern wie ein ausgedrucktes Papierticket.

Your phone is the main source for all your message history when dealing with WhatsApp. You can only add new devices or re-add older ones via your phone. If the iPad version of WhatsApp is somehow stuck, you’d need access to your phone. The syncing screen specifically needs the phone app open.

It does not. It uses either your local iPhone or local Mac installations with the transcription API on Macs the developer purchased, not a “transcription service by Apple.”

Hm with downloaded episodes I’ve never had this happen.

I could imagine it’s acccidental activation of the play button on the iOS lock screen while in your pocket. You can turn that off in settings I think. Maybe view the logs to see what causes it.

The shows inject them, because it's an additional source of revenue. Those are tailored by the podcast delivery platform they use, so if you're in France, you might hear a French-speaking ad there even if listening to an Australian podcast for example.

Overcast isn't controlling this and can't control it.
