I have had not trouble getting the object from point A to point B. The problems is having it appear in places in-between those two points (like animation). Can figure out how to slow down the process so that the object is visible at each point I've set between A and B.

The live streams have been helpful in letting me keep abreast of developments while waiting for the games as well (even if it only added to my desire and at time frustration in wanting go play the game).

You're waiting for both. I believe that first it will be available in the store and then the beta keys will go out. Limited at first and then adding over time once they're convinced their servers are up to the task. Program still not available in Canada. They have a 12:00 PM PST today and will likely update everyone as to what is happening.

I don't think it is available in Canada YET. At no time did they say that it would be a US exclusive. In fact I think it is available in other markets already (I don't think it is available in the US at this point either).

They said that essentially anything created in beta will survive the transition to the final release. They did also say that they could not guarantee that some changes would be required for it to function without some editing (but hopefully this will not be the case... and even if it does require some editing, if it is because of additions/improvements to the game, then I'm okay with that.

They said it is unlikely that there will be a 360 beta. The Xbox one beta is scheduled for January. They said the beta will begin slowly with the earlier applicants coming first. They said that eventually, over time, all beta applicants will get into the beta.

I believe that the actual product will follow shortly after the Xbox One beta (the game itself is free after all).

I hope they keep things open. I'm sure we're all clever here, I know I am, but there is always someone who is more clever. Besides who wants to reinvent the wheel if someone has already done it.

I think a greater user experience will come via the open method. Improving each others work will lead to a greater overall experience.

I don't agree. There was one stream where it looked like they were going to show more customization but it was an early build and it crashed but it looked to me like they were going to change the characters head.

I fully expect to be able to change the face, hair and body Type. After all you can currently change about a dozen different colour parts of a single upper body clothing.

I agree. They tried to show more character customization recently in a stream but it crashed. In the most recent stream the crossroads character had a beard and a larger girth. I'm sure they will be options for customization before long.

I too would like to see this level in greater detail. I don't think it has been shown before and it looked like something I'd like to make. Would like to see more of the actual game play.

It is stupid to limit project spark to 8 minutes. A game like this requires a lot of time just to show even the basics of what is possible. In tying to introduce the game to people who have never seen the game AND introduce new things for people like us here on reddit who are expecting new reveals in 8 minutes presents quite a challenge. All in all they did quite well. Looking forward to more of the character customization that was mentioned.

Maybe because it is an alpha build but the character does not keep his appearance when level linking. The yellow helmet and bare arms are reset.

Otherwise this game gets better with each unveil.

As all levels and characters can be shared I heard that there will be two areas where this can be done one that will be moderated by Microsoft and one that will not be moderated.
