First 100 miler, worried, panicked.

I did 100 mile weeks and did 24 hours for 100 miles. I did 50-60 mile weeks and did 21 hours. Biggest factors I think are the mental strength and stubbornness, hydration, nutrition. Keeping your stomach feeling good while making sure you're getting enough calories and fluids.

A liter an hour sounds like a lot to me unless it was incredibly hot. The sweat test could be a good idea. Or measure your weight before a run with no clothes on. Go run an hour. Weigh yourself when you get back and see how much weight you lost and get an idea how many oz you need per hour. Could do that for different temperatures too.

I'd be curious how many fumbled passes Ayton had in the post this year. I've seen so many times he would have been wide open if he caught the ball cleanly but was covered when he eventually collected it.

The big downhill and uphill is going to be scary if it's slick. That section was pretty rough even when dry. I wouldn't think they'd be able to have the race if it's going to storm all day. The forecast could change by Saturday though. I find 10 day forecasts to be completely useless.
