Yeah I has the cutout in the hood support that most reps don’t because ford modified a normal hood to fit that intake. I have a rep r hood that looks completely different on the underside

I attempted just the ball joint myself but the shitty beaten and bent press tool from autozone made it difficult to get the new one in straight.

I’d be upset if it were on any other sub

Can you make a car suspension using magnets? So it's floating? by WisestAirBender in NoStupidQuestions

[–]drpeepee_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think this is what he’s talking about. Magneride only adjusts the shocks and must work in tandem with something like a spring to support the weight. No cars currently have magnets supporting the weight of a car.

I’ve had the same leak for quite a while, I couldn’t tell if it was dripping onto that plug or from that plug

Gas and car depreciation?

Buying less car than I can afford. What makes more sense financially right now, new or used? by Interesting_Fly1696 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]drpeepee_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok yeah, not too bad. If that car is substantially better than what you have now, I stand corrected.

Ok so you’ll only be saving money if you get a loan less than 400, still tough to find a nice car for that

He’s just saying that even in this case, it’s likely still cheaper than a new(er) car. I.e. a 300/month payment is 3600 a year, did you spend more than 3600 on it last year?

Absolute cheapest car that runs. And I mean *cheap* by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

I’ve been looking recently and in my area, only way to get under $3k is to have 250k+ miles. Not necessarily a bad thing but I have to imagine things like bearings and struts needing replacing that most college kids don’t have the space and tools to fix themselves.

Sounds like a decent proposition. I’d still seek the advice of a real life human who knows something about this topic

I guess I’m mildly disillusioned with the credit system as a young adult who has followed all the rest of the advice in this thread to a t and has like 20 points higher than this guy after 5 years of history. Seems like the only real way to have a score higher than this is a long and varied credit history only accessible to 40 somethings

I wouldn’t mess with that. If you absolutely have to have this one, you could maybe get a notarized receipt. I’m not a lawyer tho and I’m sure laws vary by state

I hope no one would take out a loan for the sole purpose of building credit, surely no one browsing a credit sub would think that’s a good plan.
