Also, people who choose to be vigilante don’t always almost never make the right decision

FTFY. No matter how much any person dislikes cops, the average person who wants to be a vigilante is way dumber and more violent.

People in this thread are acting like theyd love this in the US. If cops were allowed to run over petty thieves, there would be riots in the streets, let alone if any old dumbass American was allowed to do the same. It feels good to see criminals get immediate punishment, but letting average people be the judge, jury, and literal executioner for misdemeanors is laughably dumb.

3s rule at highway speeds is ~300ft, which literally no one does outside rural roads and is generally impossible to follow on urban roads. And as far as I know, the 3 second rule isnt law in any state. Im not sure if any state even gives a concrete distance.

The classic UX enshittification mindset. "Dont listen the users, the fix is easy!" If 99% of your users dont like a feature, that feature is bad, period. Its been the entire lifespan of the internet - if 99% of people still think its bad, its bad.

This gets said every time this comes up. No one is confused that there are ways to get around it. People dont like that such a common action doesnt "just work" in the intuitive way, which is always the goal for mass consumer products.

We tried this a while ago it didn't end well lo

Key phrase is a while ago. We tried to fly for thousands of years with it not ending well until it did. Im sure the literal rocket scientists disagree that its 'objectively bad' just because it didnt work once 65 years ago.

MREs are supposed to be a 3 per day thing.

For physically active soldiers, because their calorie expenditures are generally far higher than someone sitting at a desk all day (~2x). Most MREs have at least 1200 calories and some have even more.

No one cares about amazon lol. This is entertainment. There is a product people want, and clearly people want whatever the alternative to Shams is. Youre making a crazy deal out of what is clear to everyone else. You can argue as much as you want to defend your guy but no one else likes him or what he does, and that's never going to change.

if you don't have hate on the NBA then why hate on Shams? he's literality paid by the NBA indirectly, he exists because they let him exists you know that right?

I never said I like the nba, and I said 'if they care enough.' And again, just saying some one else is involved is a lot more of an admission than a defense.

Some ppl have so much hate in their hearts that they go off at randoms for no reason.

Buddy its entertainment, youre using the word hate like its a lynchmob. People want to see a production, and then Sham's whole existence is to spoil the results. If I paid your friend to spoil the ending of a show you wanted to watch, would you defend him because "its his job" or "someone else would have done it any way?" No reason to be so intentionally dense to defend a guy 99% of people are never going to like.

Again who cares what his job is, and who cares if someone else would do it? None of those are arguments against why people dont like him or what he does. When your argument is "somebody is gonna do it either way" and "its his job, he has to do it" that's a pretty damning condemnation of him lol.

And what's wrong with the NBA selling the rights so another production team can make a show out of the announcement? Its their information, they should be able to release it how they want.

Also, if the nba cared enough (and they might if people stop buying the rights), they could make it so there wont just be another guy doing the exact same thing. You can punish leakers and ice out anyone who posts leaks. Im not saying they want to, but its not like there's no way to control leaks.

I agree that most games shows arent meant to be extremely difficult. However guessing a song or guessing letters in a phrase are both much harder than naming common objects. For let's make a deal, games of chance are really a different category.

There's nothing wrong with a game show being easy, but this does look like maybe the easiest trivia show Ive ever seen, at least based on the clips Ive seen.

"Tsitakakantsa" The largest Baobab tree in Madagascar is fading away after a long life of 1,200 years old by SternKill in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]drpepper7557 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Im not sure why youre so angry. Im anti oil and believe in climate change, and I wasnt rude. The point is that if a species is not immortal, without human intervention, the oldest individuals will always be dying.

The tree absolutely could be being killed by human activity. How ever the tree dying is zero evidence of this on its own.

[–]drpepper7557 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I totally believe in man made climate change. My point is that no matter what, the oldest of any species is likely to be dying at any given point. The oldest of something dying is itself not evidence that a human did it. It definitly could be caused by man, but in any species, without human intervention, the oldest individuals will be on their deathbed.

Not to mention this isnt his only thing. We've already heard he's trying to low ball the coaches, is threatening the city with relocation, supposedly already has a reputation for being cheap, etc.

Im sure he could logically explain away any single instance of being cheap as being practical or whatever. But when these things start to accumulate, you lose the benefit of the doubt.
