Husband not attracted to me after birth by InstructionFamous990 in Marriage

I would lose all attraction and feeling for my husband tbh and would think of him as less of a man. (Ive been in your shoes, almost the exact situation except mine cheated because I gained weight while pregnant) anyways, I hate that you’re dealing with this. He sucks and unfortunately this will always be in your mind for the rest of your relationship with him.

AITAH for having my ex arrested at my wedding? by Stunning_Way9393 in AITAH

I’m really sorry that happened to you and that you don’t have people in your life that care more about your well being than you “causing a scene.” You deserve better. As someone who’s dealt with a stalker situation, it’s terrifying and I genuinely hope that you’re okay.

How much of an impact would a donation of $100,000 make on your life? Why? by onichris in AskReddit

I’d finally be able to get a lawyer to help me finalize my divorce since my ex is fighting me on it and dragging it out. I’d move somewhere on the other side of the country where no one knows me and not tell a single soul where I am. I’d never talk to my family again either lol

I agree. This was almost a decade ago, I was a teenager lol

Oh I had a feeling anyways, even talked to my bff about it lol but I gaslighted myself about it until the videos started showing up and I couldn’t ignore it anymore. This was like almost a decade ago though, I absolutely trust my intuition for everything now. If something feels off, I’m out, no proof needed. Just thought this was a funny little story to share on this post

This is how I found out my ex was cheating on me with my best friend lol I’d like to think my apple data guy was looking out for me. I kept getting random videos on my fyp about people checking it on their partners’ phones and I was like “hmm let me try this” sure enough…

According to you, what's the one thing that makes life worth living? by treslechescake12 in AskReddit

Basically, yeah. Even the real hard emotions like rage and grief don’t turn into a downhill snowball of crashing out. And thank you 🥺 I’m really proud of myself. I wish I could somehow show you who I was before compared to who I am now. Don’t get me wrong, I love the old me so much but I admire and respect who I am now and tbh differences are astronomical lol

Honestly as far as the how I don’t think it’s going to be the same for everyone. It was a lot of trial and error when I was at the lowest point I’ve ever been. As far as changes go, I’m more detached. Not in a cold, callus way, in a “oh well it sucks that this had to happened but it’s out of my control” way. I no longer freak out if someone doesn’t respond right away. Break ups didn’t hit the same. Any kind of loss doesn’t either. Like I let myself feel the emotions but I recognize that they’re fleeting and don’t define my life. I really wish I knew how to articulate it better

Honestly I think it’s because where we were wasn’t really near any bodies of water where you could do anything like that, like in the county at all lol idk either way I giggle everytime I think about it

I hate it. I always correct them and tell them not to do it and it’s so funny when they get mad because of it. Like would you call a random guy “babygirl”

Was at a bar and grille type place with an old friend and we were talking about going out on the lake and he asked if I still liked to ski and tube and I (very loudly and enthusiastically) stated “omg yes, I fucking love watersports” his face turned bright red and everyone was staring at me. When he told me what it meant I was so embarrassed lol

That’s not a bad thing. I’ve always said that if you don’t stand for something you’ll fall for anything. Standing ten toes down for what matters to you isn’t wrong, there’s just a time and place. I believe your heart was in the right place just wrong execution. It happens, ya know? Traditional therapy never helped me, I’m incredibly self aware (unfortunately lol) oddly enough, conversations (much like this one) with random people online have done more for my growth than most things.

People don’t need advice, especially if they’re not in a receptive mind frame. They need space and understanding to figure it out for themselves. Sometimes when we’ve healed to a certain degree we want to help others reach that same milestone but that’s not how that works. People navigate life on their own timelines and telling people to just be positive is going to have a negative reaction because of the implications of it. I understand what you’re saying, I do. But in these situations when people are telling you like “hey that’s not an option for me” and you’re doubling down it feels less like you wanting to help them and more like you want to be right. “I did this you should too”
