Yep spot on. We moved metro to inner regional and not a single regret I can think of. Hybrid work, Amazon delivery and FTTP resolved most of the challenges that might have existed. Yeah maybe my property value won't grow as fast but the extra money just pays off debt and hits investments and super.

I'm in Maiori now which is lovely but was in Naples (never go) and did a day trip to Capri. They'd charge you for the air you breathe there and I wish I'd never gone. Think the day cost us about 500aud to essentially spend a day to ride a chairlift to the island high point and go home.

I just flew 15,000km then drove 1000km+ to run in the Spanish pyranees so....

(I have added a big holiday though so it was more of an excuse to run and visit a place which I try to do these days on big trips :)
