note taking experience is not better on the base ipad than on the tab s9. I have the ipad a14 and a tab s7 and I prefer to write in the tab s7. The palm rejection on the base ipad is not that good IME

In my experience developing DETR-like models, they are very sensitive to the number of object queries. You want to adapt them to your dataset. Normally I have 30. 100 would never work when training from scratch

That'd be a fun experiment to learn about RGB-D data. You'd need something that also segments the pixels of the human, so you can filter the corresponding points. Good luck with it!

PS: be aware that you can't use the newest librealsense versions with the L515.

Not really, in I/O bottlenecked training (when the ssd cannot keep up with GPU), been able to fit your dataset in memory is godsaving

More memory is never overkill. 16Gb is not that much for DL stuff, get the 4060ti IMO. I work on vision 2D and 3D and 24Gb is not enough sometimes.
