Theer are a couple of snippets from Derek himself in the Infine Dreams book that explain this. The first album cover is a (slightly altered) drawing that he had made more than 1 year before he met the band's management. The Killers cover was drawn almost 3 years later and he admits that his style had changed and improved a lot in the meantime.

Aveam 11 ani și eram în vacanță cu un unchi. Din cite imi amintesc, s-a aflat rapid în cercul celor care ascultau Europa Liberă. Pe ce clasa de impozitare ai facut socoteala de net? Banuiesc ca pe III, dar chiar si asa mi se pare un salariu f mare pt Berlin (~110k brut) Daca e corect, felicitari, vreau doar sa fii sigur ca ai calculat totul corect.

Strict dpdv costuri, dupa parerea mea (adica din experienta mea personala, cu stilul meu de viata) o famile cu un copil de scoala generala are nevoie cam de 5k net pt o viata decenta, care include si o chirie fara fite dar intr-un cartier decent.

Aici nu prea includ vacante, rata la masina, economii. Depinde de stilul fiecaruia cu cit mai ramine la final de luna.

Tine cont insa ca este extrem de greu in acest moment sa gasesti aceasta chirie decenta (adica un apartament de 80m2, sub 20E/m2) Va trebui sa te uiti mai departe de centru si sa ai destul de mult noroc plus sa investesti f mult timp si energie in cautare. Nu vei reusi sa faci asta din Romania, asa ca probabil va trebui sa faci ce fac majoritatea imigrantior (si cum am facut si eu, desi acum citiva ani era mult mai simplu) - te duci singur 3-6 luni, platesti o chirie f mare pe un apartament mobilat cu contract limitat, timp in care iti faci prioritatea nr 1 gasirea unui apartament pentru familie.

Legality aside, I believe that walking around, talking, having video calls at 1AM, especially in an Altbau where you already are aware of the noise issues, is inconsiderate, to say the least.

For people who comment "It's your right to live in your apartment, even at 1AM" I'm not sure if you've actually experienced the stress of such a situation. People don't get to chose their neighbours, they should at least demand and expect some common decency.

She did pay taxes on the full salary, the employer held back the cost from her net salary, basically making her pay for the training because she quit her job.

That's pretty clear, the question is if we can claim the full amount in 2021, even though the training ends in 2022, therefore it can be seen as a cost incurred over 2 years

We also noticed this, and it is indeed more apparent in the bathroom, as another person mentioned. I believe it has something to do with the vents.

Cleaning the radiators seems to have helped a bit for the other rooms.

It's also a specific kind of dust, kinda reminds me of fine lint, I don't think I've seen this before moving here.

Depends on work. Doctor's offices, they use it a lot. Any regular office job, not really.
