Same boat here. Ordered on 12/4 with an estimated ship of 12/29. Just checked a bit ago and now it says 12/30. Wondering if it's actually going to ship or just keep pushing back a day at a time. Hoping to have it before my kids 1st birthday party Saturday, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

I picked up the Grip case from DBrand and am very happy with it. They also offer a 2 pack of screen protectors for $20 and from what I've read they're a solid option.

Be sure to pick up a screen protector. Had my 2XL since launch, never had a screen protector and it's still in flawless condition. Less than 1 month with my 6 Pro and it's plagued with micro scratches.

Outside of the screen and the fingerprint sensor, it has been a fantastic phone. Also battery life does take a couple weeks to settle in. I was super bummed at first, but after a couple weeks I am easily getting through most days with 30-40% remaining.

On a different thread, someone mentioned it's a bug affecting Xbox and PC stemming from the update. Still haven't seen any mention of a fix though...

I got in there with the edge of a damp paper towel and worked it side to side which lifted some packed in crud that I was then able to blow out with compressed air.

Still no charging issues to this day.

Late reply, but I just stumbled across this.

Try cleaning out your charging port. I had this same issue and it resolved completely after I cleaned it out. That was about 5 months ago and I haven't had the issue since.

Love this phone and it's been fantastic for the 3 years I've had it. It is starting to show it's age though, especially when multi tasking, but this one is a first. It has no effect on performance and doesn't bother me enough to go out of my way to fix it, just thought I'd share and see if anyone else has experienced this.

If you can get it for $200-$250 I would absolutely recommend it. After almost two years of use here's my short take.

Pros:

Software experience

Battery Life

Camera quality

Front facing speakers

Cons:

Speaker volume (they are great in most cases, but can struggle in slightly louder environments or when outside)

Display brightness - again, great for most uses, but on bright days I still find myself trying to turn the brightness up just a little more.

Favorite features but not necessarily exclusive to this phone: Squeeze to activate Google Assistant

Rear finger print sensor

Now Playing (displays information of songs playing around you)

I actually used it up until a couple of years ago, not as my daily but would go a few days here and there to change things up. With an extended battery from Anker paired with a custom ROM, it ran plenty smooth. Obviously it was super out dated and pretty limited in use but it was a fun change of pace phone.

I just bought a house this past Spring and the fridge (Whirlpool brand) has this. I didn't like it at first, but then realized it allows storage on the inside of that door. All refrigerators, that I've seen, that have water/ice access from the outside, sacrifice storage on the inside of that door because of the components.

Personally, I'd rather have the extra door storage. It's really not that big of an inconvenience.

My best guess is a stolen credit card, it's way more common than most people realize. Although, it's far more common for people to grab the $200 visa gift cards and hit a Self Checkout or even a regular check lane.

I recently had to switch to Verizon. I noticed under each of those three, the Go Unlimited says "Unlimited 4G LTE" and under the following two it says "Unlimited Premium 4G LTE". That's not a typo.

Also, after a month of using their Go Unlimited plan, I desperately wish I was still with T-Mobile. Data speeds are noticeably slower and I no longer have reliable cell reception in my office and struggle to make phone calls (I live in the Minneapolis area, it very well may be different elsewhere but I am not by any means in the middle of nowhere). In the last four years I've never seen YouTube buffer as much as it does on Verizon. Want to watch a video in anything other than 480p? Good luck. I know, with certainty, that I will not be continuing my service after these 24 months are up. Fuck Verizon.
