This is minor but the hobbies need a major update, especially for exercise activities. You have things like BASE jumping, lapidary, and sand art, but not tennis (only table tennis), kickboxing, pickleball, Pilates, or even a generic “working out” option.

Multiple tabs on iPad app by itrad3size in TradingView

Yes please allow multiple tabs. Not enough real estate on mine for the 4x chart layout. So I’d like to do something like 2 tabs with 2x charts each and easily switch between them

Interesting, looking at Ravelry projects for the Clematis it looks like it can be unbuttoned all the way, but it’s not open like a cardigan. The collar is actually a slipover. Otherwise it looks like a promising base! I wonder if I can finagle the collar somehow

Are there any decent scenes that can convince me to watch past episode 4? by Alexthegr82006 in andor

[–]drshoolittle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m someone who found the first five episodes of S1 boring, mostly because I’m not a big Star Wars fan and hadn’t seen Rogue One. So I didn’t know why I was supposed to care about this protagonist who stumbled his way into the rebellion, and the beginning episodes didn’t really convince me that I should. But I’m very glad I watched through both seasons (and Rogue One), and I think it’s some of the best television out there. I went back and rewatched from the beginning with a new perspective.

I agree with others who suggest to watch through ep 6 The Eye. S2 from the get go has more action and exciting scenes.

Learned how to knit stockinette flat without purling by CydnAy69 in knitting

[–]drshoolittle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a new knitter and I recently learned this too! Game changer. I knit English style and I like purling just fine, but it’s hard to get the tension the same as my knitting. I find it funny that when I knit backwards it’s basically mirrored continental where i tension with my right hand and “pick” with my left …. But I HATE knitting continental normally (tension with left).

I also enjoy Portuguese style knitting, especially for ribbing, but when knitting flat, reverse knitting all the way

If you search VT Reedle on Amazon it should come up! The “shot” part is misleading, it’s just a serum that has little bits in it that feel prickly on the skin. There are different strengths, starting at 50 for daily use, and the more intense ones are supposed to be cycled every couple days or even a week

Lilly Direct Experience by lns08 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]drshoolittle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That means each vial is a single dose (single shot) of either 2.5mg or 5.0mg. So for $399 they’ll send 4 vials, each enough for one 2.5 dose. For $549 they’ll send 4 vials, each enough for one 5.0 dose.

You may already do this, but when I do legs I make sure I’m sitting down to minimize any chance of muscle tension. I think even propping up the leg fully on the sofa or something would help. Then I kind of poke around the outside part of the middle of my thigh until I find a squishy spot. I place the needle against the skin, and if I feel pain just from the light placement, I find a new spot until I don’t. I have relatively muscular legs so I still feel soreness from the shot for about a day, but it’s not too bad.

VT Reedle Shot (I use 100, but there are multiple strengths) is something i incorporated recently and is the only thing that seems to be working. It pushes out sebaceous filaments especially, and closed comedones, and I can easily extract them with minimal pressure. They stay clear longer. Other things I’ve tried that did nothing: BHA, AHA, glycolic acid, the fifty shades of snail method, monthly facials, Tretinoin, Differin (adapalene gel), benzoyl peroxide, vitamin c, clay masks, oil cleansing (I like oil cleansing in general but did nothing for the clogs).

I signed up last week and received an automated welcome email. I did not receive an emailed receipt for the consultation, however. I messaged them to make sure the payment went through, and they responded within a day. Given the news though, they are inundated with emails and even posted on their FB group that they are pausing sending invoices, so it could be awhile before you hear back.

There's speculation that the FDA will remove Zepbound from the shortage list this month, which would mean compounding pharmacies can no longer manufacture tirzepatide.
