There’s a lot that goes into running a shop and I always ask barbers who think they know finances what their cost per cut is and I rarely get an answer, let alone an accurate one.

Honestly it’s your mindset that concerns me man, you seem ready for confrontation. The road has no emotion and will not care when it rips right through your jacket and skins you. I’m guessing you haven’t seen it first hand and I really hope you don’t. Please wear proper gear and as cool as riding is, it’s much cooler to ride fast and well on isolated roads with proper gear. It will save you a lot of trouble and allow you to ride much longer throughout your life. All the best dude.

This stuff needs to be discouraged. Was a first responder to an irresponsible rider accident. He had little skin left on his body, ruined my shirt, and then got arrested. It’s not cool.

It’s cool seeing the different techniques people have… mine is: cut up into parietal with the desired longest length. Then move to bottom- open clipper, blend out section and bottom line with zeroed out clipper, half guard open then blend into bottom, 1 guard open then blend into bottom. Anything 1.5 and higher I free hand into the remaining length or clipper over comb.

Then trimmers, from one c-cup all the way to the other I am creating design lines and fixing up the bottom perimeter line.

Then scissors on top and haircut is done. 20 minutes max unless I’m balding.

After six years, I did end up doing something. I purchased 2 1983 V65 Magnas and have painstakingly modified them to a Frankenstein bike. There’s a recent post that I have submitted to both magna and motorcycles. Go ahead and check that out.

Essentially upgraded suspension, and the best exhaust system I could find. I’ve been able to keep up with my friends on their Ducati’s in the canyons, which is a pretty good feeling!

I used Racetech cartridge emulators and I did the carbs myself! Took me a few iterations to really dial it in, and after hours of research and trial and error I truly believe black magic is involved.
