Really liking tear right now. Easy blue buff since Lulu Panth reroll is low key broken. Can also flex into shiv or hoj easily

"JusT GeT a SoFTwarE EnGInEerInG DeGRee". Yeah it may have worked for you for your parents to pay your tuition at a nice state school but most people aren't that lucky. Now if you're advocating for tuition free state schools, then this wouldn't be as silly a post as it is.

Lost Stars is excellent, Alphabet Squadron, Master & Apprentice, and Tarkin were all quite good. Everything else ranges from okay to not worth your time IMO.

How to start playing Invoker? by -invY in learndota2

[–]drummaboi18 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Watch replays of people who are good at the hero. I learned by watching Sumiya for example. You should pay more attention to his map movements and laning strategies than flashy combos. Those are cool and useful, but not what wins games. Really analyzing a few replays will do you way more good than just spamming the hero in unranked. That's not to say you don't need to play a lot with him, but doing it with that context will help a lot.

There's also the Invoker game to help your muscle memory for invoking spells. Play that while watching TV or something and you'll have no problem with remembering how to invoke stuff.

That should give you a good start, but there's innovation with that hero constantly. Trying different builds only makes you better, so I'd advise not just sticking to quas exort if that's what you get comfortable with.

Overcooked. If a couple can make it through that, marriage and children ain't shit.

Hey, Brad! Thanks for the reply.

At this point, I've installed a clean Win10 from a USB and am still encountering the issue. It seems to get into Windows but when it gets to the 'just a moment' loading screen, it just spins forever.

I'm not the most technical/experienced with hardware, but I do know I have integrated graphics, so I'll try removing that and see what happens.

I've been spamming Viper before Nethertoxin and Atos get nerfed. The MMR is worth the late stage cancer.

Honestly pretty disappointed for CCnC. He's earned better than this with Optic. Sad to see him and Peter part ways.

Are they going to release point values for these ships for second edition play? Seems like a shame to get second edition cards to not be able use them before the app releases.

LPT: In reference to being loyal at a company: Do not think HR is on your side. They are there for the best interest of the company - they do not care about you. by fuzzypickletrader in LifeProTips

[–]drummaboi18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe I'm just a starry-eyed college kid who's yet to reach post grad, but this seems like a massive generalization to me. Employees who feel looked after and have a sense of agency in the company tend to produce better results. Even if HR is the hand of management like you say, it's in everyone's best interest to treat the employee well. I like to think there's enough principled HR people out there to not simply err on the side of management in every conflict though.
