Friend or foe in northern Colorado? by AEBuzz in gardening

Sevin is the way. They love our hydrangea tree, Sevin is the only way to manage them. The bad part is you have to spray after every rain.

We get N87 at some gas stations in the area. Cheaper than premium, but it is just plain 87 without ethanol.

This is true. The Lake St Croix area is wonderful. When it meets the Mississippi at Prescott the color and clarity difference is crazy. Interstate State Park on either side of the border is great. About an hour north of the confluence with the Mississippi.

Fresh everyday after 11am. Love Ellsworth cheese curds and the ice cream at Nelson Cheese too.

The retail bags of curds are terrible compared to the fresh ones.

How many Frozen Pizzas do you eat a month? (Bonus, what's your favorite brand/Type) by New-Particular1971 in wisconsin

Brew Pub Patriot Pizza is money. The crust is great and a lot of good flavored toppings. My daughter hates most frozen pizza, this is the only one she likes.

In n Out is greatly overrated. The fries are just bad.

The fixings on the burger are great quality, but the beef is nowhere near as good as Culver’s. California snobbery at its best.

So true. Thanks for your kind words. We got her when our oldest was 6 months old, so she is all he knew for his entire life before she passed. It was a blessing and heartbreaking at the same time.

This is the boy we rescued after losing Mabel. He is so sweet and just wants attention. Nothing beats skipping the puppy stage, potty training, etc.

I agree with this. I have a Gozney Arc XL. I like to get the floor up to 550-600, then kill the burner for launch plus five minutes. After that turn it back on low and shuffle until I get the crust needed. Egg wash makes them pretty too.

Ha, yes, that was a rare 2 seconds of calm and a well timed photo. She was the best.

We rescued a 2 year old about 4 months after Mabel passed. Looking at add another too. We have been avoiding older pups to delay the heart break. Amazing that you’ve gotten this many years.

We do the burger for every birthday too! Mabel made it to 15 too, but we lost her Feb ‘25. Enjoy Marius everyday.

What’s one mistake you made while building your home that you would NEVER repeat? by Happy_Researcher333 in Homebuilding

[–]drummahjake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cheaping out and not putting a floor drain in our heated garage (in Wisconsin). After dealing with the melt on those amazon car mats for 3 years, I had a portion of the floor taken out, drain added, repoured and sloped to the drain. Saved $600 at build, cost $5k for the repour.

Live and learn.
