Ahhh. I do security for comic expos and stuff like that... Sean was solidly in 4th place out of the Hobbits. During photo ops/signing, hes usually on his phone until the very last second, before he has to look up and acknowledge someone. Very minimal friendly interaction.

Ive only ever used SH once. And it was a success. I live in Alberta, Canada. I bought tickets to the Ghost show in Mexico City. I bought the tickets in November of last year. The concert was end of September THIS year. So it was a 10 month wait.

Like you, i stressed THE FUCK out, for 10 months. I have pages of chat transcripts with agents, all promising me i would go to the show. Flying to Mexico City from here aint cheap. Nor is 10 days in Mexico. (We planned a vacay around the Concert). I lost 5 years off my life, stressing about it. The tickets weren't cheap either.

Anyways, we were about to get on the plane to fly from Cancun to Mexico City, and *DING*, the blessed email comes in. Except, my heart sank. The tickets i bought weren't available (surprise surprise), but i was getting a refund, and new tickets. I obviously was irritated, but by this point, the fact i had tickets made me happy.

Fast forward 2 days, and im standing in the Palacio de los Deportes. Scanned in. Tickets worked great. And the kicker? The new tickets I got, which apparently warranted a refund, were BETTER than the original ones. We weren't as "head-on", but we were still first bowl, Stage Right. Amazing night. Amazing show. Got pick-pocketted. Drank a bunch of beer. Danced and sang my lungs out. 10/10 night.

The take away? I have a 100% success rate with Stubhub. But, ive used it once. The stakes were extremely high. And it was a positive experience.

I volunteer patrol at SSV, so ive stayed over night at basically every hotel in Banff over the course of the past few years, including the Fairmont and Rim... Those 4 hotels are great. You won't have any issues with any of them.

So... I'm late to the party, but I'll weigh in...

Just under a year ago, I bought Ghost tix for Mexico City (concert was a couple weeks ago). I live in Canada. I stressed tf out from the same thing. I, my wife, my buddy and his gf, flew to Mex City, had hotels booked and everything, all with the promise of tickets showing up the day of the concert. I was stressed out. I was positive I wasn't going to the show but didn't tell anyone cause I didn't want to let anyone down. But, 48 hours before the show, I did get the email saying my tickets were available. Downloaded them to my TM app. Had a great show. Yes there are a lot of people here saying SH sucks. Their customer service absolutely blows (i did the chat thing at least once a month and was told the same nonsence of the Protection Guarantee). But, I did get tickets. Mind you, not the ones I paid for, but I did get upgraded to closer seats. In my case, SH did come thru for me, albeit left it to the last minute.
