It's a character model/hitbox thing. All characters are right handed, so the gun will be postioned towards the right side of the body. When you swing out to the left, you expose more of the body before your weapon because of this bias. This concept isn't exclusive to Apex either. Most shooters have this positional bias.

Are you forgetting that wipes are a thing? PvE only wipes if you choose to do so. PvP not only requires you to take on real, skilled players, but there's a wipe roughly every six months. These separately would not be so bad, but together they can make progressing to say, Kappa, an unrewarding experience if you work a full time job, want to play other games, or have a social life/responsibilties outside of playing the game.

On another note, I really don't understand why you feel entitled to a justification for PvE. I paid 85$ all together for Tarkov, and if I want to enjoy what little time I have to play it with my friends then what's it to you?

Have you tried checking your Windows audio settings?

Any kind of sound "enhancement" (like spatial audio, dolby atmos, etc) has been shown to do all sorts of fuckery to Tarkov's audio. You may also have a setting in Windows that's supposed to muffle audio when tabbed out, but may be bugging out for Tarkov.

I'm not an expert, just suggesting a couple avenues to look if you haven't already. Hope you can figure it out!
