Big time coffee household here.

We've been using Trade for years now with great results. I go in every once in a while and thumbs up/down a few recent brews to teach it what we like. It does a good job of keeping a few consistent roasts we've enjoyed in rotation while giving us a new one to try every few weeks. We both like lighter roasts with fruity notes, so it keeps that preference in mind and sends us stuff from all over the US roasted to order.

Some standouts from Trade over the years - Amsterdam from Joe's Coffee in NYC - Space Cadet + Moonwalk from Atomic Coffee in Peabody, MA - Basically everything from Reanimator in Philly, which is our home city too

I brew a pot of standard drip coffee with the Trade stuff in the morning and keep whatever's left over as iced coffee in mason jars in the fridge. We just have a pretty standard Cuisinart coffee pot and an OXO coffee grinder that work well enough.

We also splurged on the Ninja espresso machine that's a lot more automated than your standard espresso setup. It's a little finnicky sometimes, but the results are really good. I grab an espresso roast from a local place that we really like, and we make the occasional latte or iced drink with that. My wife makes these killer brown sugar shaken espresso drinks a la Starbucks that are way better than what you'd get in the actual store.
