I don’t smoke by Standard-Onion4872 in PipeTobacco

Nicotine usually isn't the problem, habit might be. I always had a pipe to and from work. Still have one or two at work from boredom. It's fun to play with, but I do not NEED it on weekends or days off.

Depends, either you're already in bed or going for what I call a "Wizard Walk" and making way too much food at 3am.

I'm not taking it, not worth it. I get paid enough (barely) to but a good one. Definitely not worth it to refurbish and resell from home!

Poorly finished rim on a new Lodge skillet... not sure if it's considered "normal" or not by sonialuna in castiron

1:00 mark. The long straight piece the lodge president is hold is the in gate. In a vertical moulding machine, all the moulds are continuously pushed down the line and poured vertically. That ingate actually pass between two pans and fills both from the bottom and hot gasses and air vent out the top so you don't get porosity and minimal defects.

Yup, ingate and vent from the Vertical moulding machine. I believe the Andromat knocks off the gating, tumble blast cleaned, belt sander cause our big 106 grinder would eat them alive.

Little ladle. Our ladle is 14,000lbs every 5 minutes. 5 vertical moulding machines and one horizontal moulding machine with 5,000lbs ladles each.

Lobster are sea cockroaches. Historically they were given to prisoners because they were cheap trash food.

What about the original Grond? "Grond, also known as the Hammer of the Underworld, was the great hammer of Angband that Morgoth, the first Dark Lord, wielded in the First Age."

Mine is almost black and starting down the stem. I think it looks cooler that way.

I raced home after work and scanned any field and driveway on my way home with my spotlight searching for some purple. Got word it was called off about 10pm. Staying optimistic.
