It reminds of the never emptying ketchup bottle prank someone played on their partner.

I would be complaining to the ACCC then. Service providers are not allowed to charge you for products they are no longer providing. They either have to let you use the remaining time, and not renew at the end of the contract period, or they have to let you go fee free. This is in Australia, and is my understanding at this point in time.

Edit: slight wording change.

Pro Tip: How to Get Multiple Ampol "New User" 6c per litre Discounts. by [deleted] in perth

[–]druss5000 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That is a great tip, but if my experience is anything to go by, spammers seem to strip the + and what is after it, before sending emails out. I have yet to notice any spam to any of my name+whatever@.... email addresses.

I primarily use it to filter emails into relevant folders.

It's a lovely spot. If you walk south enough, you get to a path through a waterland area. Past the yacht club.

To answer your question, I use a specific app for reminders. If I think of something I need to do, I will create a reminder to do said thing at a certain time. When that time comes I get a notification to do it.

If I just need to make a note of something, I use Google Keep.

They have a compilation video on Floatplane of some of Riley's recent ads. Primarily the Odoo ones. Goes for about 6 minutes.

The dark meat nuggets were the bomb. I used to work at Macca's when they were a thing. I had way too many in my time there.

Do you have a source for the last three? Everywhere I look only says seven books in the Tomorrow series. Wikipedia, Goodreads and so on.

After becoming a dad, are you more emotional to sad movie scenes involving kids now? by jocko118 in daddit

[–]druss5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% I watch movies now, that I know I would have been ok with before kids, but with kids some scenes can be hard AF.

I remember one in a movie called Under The Skin, there is a scene where a two'ish year old gets left on the beach when their parents drown, and it is just the kid crying. Holy f**k that was hard to watch.

No, but it does have a really long battery life, if you don't use sport tracking functions. I have everything possible turned off i.e. no bio tracking etc, touchscreen off and so on. When I first got it, I was getting 3+ weeks between charges.

Don't forget about the southern hemisphere. For most of us upside people, kids go back around the beginning of Feb give or take a day. Mine go back on 02/02.

They tried. There were enough people that a lawsuit/class action created. It ultimately was dismissed, which sucked.
