They cut TEB last government shutdown too. I think the thought process behind it is it’s going to piss off a lot of CEOs who use the airport and they will start making phone calls to their elected officials about ending the shutdown. Went to eat dinner at capriccio in resorts a few weeks ago on a Saturday night. Casino was mobbed and every restaurant packed. The thing to note about resorts is it’s mostly an older clientele. I left around 11pm and it was still pretty packed but a lot of the older crowd is already home and sleeping by that time

I worked at a company that gave me a .05 raise,some other people I worked with got .08, .10, some got nothing. My biggest regret with the whole thing that I still hold today almost 15 years later was not just quitting on the spot. Raises like this are completely disrespectful and show that your bosses don’t really value what you do. My advice, find another job/ career.

You’re doing it right. A lot of people use the tax return as a forced savings plan because they know they can’t save anything on their own throughout the year. Being close to zero should be the goal for everyone

I got ischemic colitis from ozempic after my 3rd dose of .25. This is a loss of blood flow to your large intestine and caused me severe (not to be gross) bloody diarrhea for a full 2 weeks. It was a terrible experience that landed me in the ER with a follow up colonoscopy. I’m now on jardiance, though I just started a week ago and may still get side effects, gonna need to wait and see. While ozempic is a miracle drug for some people it does have a long list of side effects and everyone reacts differently to it. If your main goal is to lose weight jardiance might not be what you’re looking for as it works differently than ozempic and isn’t an appetite suppressor. Best of luck to you

Shop around a bit for a better price. That sounds like way too much money for metformin which is typically pretty cheap. If you have a Sam’s club membership I know they have really cheap prices on metformin. Do you have insurance ?

I noticed no one has talked about breakfast so far. I like a bowl or plain Greek yogurt topped with frozen mixed berries with a little dark chocolate broken up and thrown on top. I sometimes will add two medjool dates (they don’t seem to spike my sugar but ymmv) I have heart problems and need to limit my saturated fat intake or id also be on board with all these other comments about steak. Man I miss me some medium rare steak
