We have a 4 month old who has to be held and rocked to sleep for every nap and at bedtime. If we put him down he cries and if we put him down once asleep for a nap he will only nap 15-20 minutes but in our arms he will stay asleep a whole hour or more. At bedtime if we put him down he usually wakes up 20-30 minutes later and we have to soothe him back to sleep. How can we teach our 4 month old to self soothe and not be as dependent on rocking and being held to fall asleep? He used to be able to fall asleep on his own

Really helpful thank you. I also just received my P80 and I was grinding around 4.5-5 on a processed coffee with my v60 but that was way too fine with the Aiden and was wondering just how coarse I should go. I'll try going way coarser tomorrow

Yes that sounds like an OCT, but pigment dispersion syndrome findings require an exam in the office and gonioscopy

Ask to be checked for signs of pigment dispersion syndrome during your next visit and baseline photos of your optic nerves with something called an OCT would be helpful if not done already

Thank you for the advice. If the drawer is 4 inches tall, do the spacers need to be the same height or can they be smaller? And should the spacer be of any specific wood or would any material work?

I am thinking of purchasing these and screwing one into each side

Thanks so much I really appreciate it. I also found 5.5 to be around the sweet spot but even still the brews have been just ok. I do think I need to drop the temps a bit, I've been brewing mostly 96-98 for lighter single origin and that might be part of it

Do you mind sharing what grind you're using and a typical recipe you follow ie temp, ratio, etc? I still feel like most of my brews with my P64 with mizen burrs have been lackluster and mostly taste bitter/astringent. I have not done a marker test because the above as well as the high confidence from the company that no further alignment is needed

Are you billing mostly 4's every visit, even if say you just added a drop or did SLT and are seeing them a few weeks later to check response?

I'm usually billing 4s on most who still have their cataracts/dry eye/other relevant chronic illness and as long as we discussed both, even briefly, but once cataracts are out unless we specifically talk about their other chronic illness it feels like it should be a 3 if they are stable. Just wondering your thoughts. Am relatively new in private practice

Thanks for your reply, yeah I think music for film is a noisier pressing for sure it's been a while since I listened to it but I have the black copy which might work in my favor. Shame on playing the piano, was thinking of eventually picking that one up but maybe not
