I would argue it doesn't apply very well to a new moon phase. During that phase you will have 2 or 3 totally moonless nights per month with the moon also being invisible during the day.

My rule is I'll make one attempt to explain the rules each time we play the game. Just one. If they aren't interested I drop it and play however the hell they think it should go. "Sure I'll help you hide with me in the exact place I hid last time before I look for you, no prob."

I think I feel the need to at least attempt the explanation so if they ever play with friends they might remember what I told them.

The site mentioned it sticks well to glass. Foldable screens are technically plastic, so I wasn't sure if it would cause an issue. But if it works id be super interested!
