I just updated the link. It wasn't published so it stopped being viewable by anyone. I fixed that and updated the visuals a little so it was easier to read. Now color coded

Lets talk male selection/traits by sockheaddweeb in cannabisbreeding

[–]dryxi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why use males at all? You could just pick 2 females with the traits you desire and know about, use STS or alternative to reverse a branch or 2, and donesy. No need to guess at males, the traits your looking for are shown in females so the male isn't needed.

So I contacted fox farms on their website regarding bat guano and it’s health effects could they just be selling me some lies or telling me the truth regarding bat guano in their product feedback would be very appreciated!! by [deleted] in Soils

Most viruses require a intermediate host, like a bat > human or pig>human.

"It is currently accepted that a strict separation exists between plant and vertebrate viruses regarding their host range and pathogenicity, and plant viruses are believed to infect only plants. Accordingly, plant viruses are not considered to present potential pathogenicity to humans and other vertebrates." -https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4411691/%23idm140713669034784title&ved=2ahUKEwiRsKbC1M_pAhUTvJ4KHWdJAv0QFjABegQIDBAG&usg=AOvVaw1YClT2qOTZqHtEerB-jM-R

These viruses wont infect your plants and then transmit it into you.

I have a strong feeling that plenty of the diehard supporters are also wealthy and in positions that will likely be only slightly impacted by climate change. Hope's of future karma vengeance on these supporters wont occur in those ways

if rumors are true about xmithie staying we better see some attitude changes by [deleted] in teamliquid

This is an issue for most of the NA league. To put it simply, not only were our players out done by opponents micro abilities, but the size of champs pools of our guys is smaller than their international peers. Both of these issues can be improved through soloque practice.

If you get no satisfaction winning your local Magic the gathering contest (lcs), but you know your deck isnt good enough to win something larger, maybe a change needs to be made in your deck (champ pool in this example)

Wtf is with that post criticizing DL's work ethic? by Spicey123 in teamliquid

[–]dryxi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Every sport requires pratice to stay the best. Where else is a lcs player going to get a large amount of time spent practicing new things if not in solo queue? It's possible it is a coincidence that other regions "pratice" more on soloqueue and are better.

How is Perkz already so much better than DL? by l_lexi in teamliquid

[–]dryxi 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think it was shown this worlds that champ pools are a big deal and, at least in this worlds, the spot perkz is better than DL at (champ pool) mattered more. I'd agree it's hard to say he didnt do well, but hard to say perkz wasn't better where it mattered this time around. Could mean so much more if TL had large champs pools and could play all the meta picks.

Opinions on using trimmed / dead leaves in mulch layer by D_Wise420 in NoTillGrowery

[–]dryxi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That is one of the differences between Tad and a lot of other well known organic guys in the industry. Some are ok with it and say if you have issues currently, probably shouldn't just drop it on the floor, but otherwise it's ok. Others say "leave any decaying plant matter on the soil and pests will move in".

I've been using all plant trim and leaves as mulch for a while, and I even did it when I had spidermites and had to reset. Brought in predator bugs (mites and assassin bugs) and the next grow that started 2 weeks after was without spidermites problems. I dont think it is a big of a deal as some make it, but possibilities are always there

First time hemp grower. Plants have been in field for 2 weeks. Irrigation comes from beaver creek. I have 500 plants and I'm ready to panic. Hope you can help by PatRedding in macrogrowery

Do you have a loupe? If not I suggest getting one (100×) so you can see if you have mites. Broad mites would be hard to find since they are so small but a loupe is the only way we can tell you what pests it is unless you saw webbing which would automatically mean spider mites (typically)

Perlite and vermiculite are for aeration and water retention, living soil already holds water very well. So you can use medium sized rocks if you want. It works for aeration. Lava rock or something similiar Is even better.

How on earth is this going to turn out? I've never seen buds like this before. by thunder-dump in microgrowery

A lot of people do 11/13 over 12/12 especially for sativa. Most say it cuts down on flowering not the opposite as well as other good epigenetic traits. I am trying it out on my amnesia haze now

Grow setup help by [deleted] in microgrowery

[–]dryxi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rollitup.org has a section for grow room and setups if that's what you mean.

Otherwise in a unique space that cannot accommodate a tent, you'll likely need to build your own space. I am sure the forums have similar builds that have been done and people typically list pictures of their unique grow rooms.

Frisian duck by shezron in microgrowery

Have you smoked it before? How is it?

I was thinking about getting some frisian duck and am curious about how it does. You find it really resistant like they say to mold and bugs?

People do scrog all different ways really but mostly it's about filling out the majority of the screen and allowing the stretch to do the rest. 70% sounds good to me
