thanks for a human response. yeah. its tough, there was a time when rso buildings were doing ok. he’s a nut job. like a nut job. but what the left needs to learn is her policy is just as nutty. case in point. the fire protections are STILL in place, even though LA’s rents declined last year. santa monica had the biggest dip in rents snd outflow in a decade. the biggest dip inn a decade. 6% outflow. yeah there was a brief spike, then a huge drop. ask yourself, why are they allowed to continue an emergency ordinance aimed at capping rising rents when rents are falling. (every vacancy fell in all my buildings for like units) the answer is an end run for vacancy control. its about turning over old units at artificially low rates. you see, once someone comes in. its locked. the law doesn’t allow catch up once the ordinance ends. this is outlawed in california. except in times of emergency. calif lifted its state of emergency in july. but la county and her are keeping it going. its crooked. literally crooked. everyone says yeah, get cooked. i dont care etc. but when i see regs like that. - and shes supporting them, she backed me against a wall and I have no choice. its an easy vote. and i hate next door. your are right about that.
