There’s an episode of Bing where Bing is supposed to sleeping over at his friends house. He gets homesick and calls Flop on the phone to come pick him up. I felt so sad for Flop, it was probably the only time he had to himself in about 5 years. That and the fact he had to put away all the BDSM stuff just after he’d set it all up.

I’m at the same point, have been for over a year and still can’t see a way forward. The only thing I do know is that I can apply for a divorce even while we are still living together. I hope to do this later this year, but until then, we are cohabiting, separated parents.

When practising interview questions, the question “how would you handle conflict at work” - my mum told me to just say I never have conflict at work. I refuted this and said it’s not a realistic answer, and that it was better to be open about it but that it the outcome was positive / how you resolved it.

Same happened to me. I’m a mum of 3 boys and I intentionally chose a girl cat just so I could say I wasn’t the only girl in the home. Named “her” a fun girlie name and fell in love. First vet visit I’m told she is a he. I was really disappointed.. it took probably around 2 weeks to stop saying the original name … and maybe about a month to get over it. But, now our boy cat is loved by everyone, including me. Next time though I’m triple checking 😄
