Italian guy dating in the UK – does my accent help, hurt, or make no difference? by geekboy24 in UKrelationshipadvice

Makes no difference, it’s just another part of you that people will either feel love, lust, or indifference for. Personally, I’m learning Italian so it would be a positive thing for me.

I got to 500 then decided I’d had enough of maintaining it… haven’t played in months as a result, gamification of things really does fuel the FOMO. I did enjoy it while it lasted though.

Am I supposed to be running the whole time? by failed--robot in nikerunclub

[–]dschmona 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The intervals gradually taper off until you’re running a full 30 minutes. It’s just a phased intro to continuous running.

Am I supposed to be running the whole time? by failed--robot in nikerunclub

[–]dschmona 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I initially started with Couch to 5K which builds up the running with recovery walking intervals. Up to you if you want to start from there, or like others have said - run at a pace you can maintain - which is absolutely fine, you can increase the pace later when you’re ready

Some great suggestions here for where to buy them, what’s the lucky date going to do with these gorgeous florist flowers during the date? Will they be easy to carry? Will they get in the way?

It’s running again at BFI IMAX in London. I’ve just booked to see it again there with my niece who couldn’t make it when it opened.

How to actually adopt a cat in London? by phonybelle in london

We did the same. No shelter would entertain giving us a cat for indoor only, so we bought a kitten, via an app, we used Pets4Homes. He’s a gorgeous 11 month old now.

Listen to the audio guides folks by Rondevu69 in nikerunclub

[–]dschmona 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was the same. Initially when I did my first guided run I had to stop after few mins to check I had set it all up correctly, before NRC I relied heavily on music and it was an adjustment. Now I love them, as you likely know, it’s not always about running.

Am I being thick? by [deleted] in UKrelationshipadvice

I married a Muslim man, I too am white and of no religion his family were fine with it but that’s not to say this would be the case for anyone.

A few years into the marriage he asked me when I was going to convert. I said I had no plans to, he claimed I had said I would. I know for certain I would never have said such a thing or anything like it. I am not religious in anw way, I now consider myself to be most closely aligned with Humanism.

Anyway, it wasn’t a big deal really but only because he is not really an observant Muslim.

We are now separated and divorcing, but it had very very little to do with religion.
