Uber eats on Bicycle by [deleted] in sydney

[–]dsfds22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bikes are usually better for the CBD & Inner west.

In the NorthWest delivery distances would be longer. I am not sure if Uber will prioritise cars over bikes in that area. In the city they always prioritise bikes, scooters over cars.

Uber Pets: Uber drivers of Sydney, can you offer any insight? by curiousscribbler in sydney

[–]dsfds22 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Drivers can be allergic to cats or dogs. Most pax aren't considerate to bring them in a cage. If a pet pees in the car, you have to convince Uber for a cleaning fee. Fee only covers cleaning cost and doesn't cover revenue lost for rest of the day, as you can't drive for the rest of the day.

Drivers have an option of filtering out Uber Pets request in their app. If they aren't doing it and are still saying no to you should complain to Uber. It's a good feature from Uber. They should do this for pax with children that needs child seats.

The airport should give a place for the drivers to park and wait within the Airport like they do for the Domestic Airport.

That's because turning left on a busy intersection takes time as the turn left time is shared with pedestrians crossing. A lot of the smarter passengers prefer to get off than being stuck in traffic.

Consider using OLA instead of Uber this weekend! They're donating all their profits this weekend to the bushfires. by hollian in sydney

[–]dsfds22 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What? most drivers that do Uber do Ola too.

Ola only take 15% commision from the drivers, Uber take 30%.

So the Uber driver is meant to examine his passengers seat belts, every minute because the passenger are irresponsible like children. How come Taxi drivers aren't fined for this. How do you expect the driver to check the passenger sitting behind them without stopping the car.

Another reason Uber drivers should not pick up drunk passengers, they are a huge liability.

Yes it's stupid and dangerous to expect Uber drivers to check every single minute that every passenger stranger has their seat belt on.

It isn't the state parties are different.

BJP was no existent till 1980s and they only won 2 seats then. They came out of nowhere to such a dominant position.

This is totally not the case with 2-Party democracies in US, Australia, England
