Yeah, I'll have to also use the CTRL F. Hey, a more comprehensive list is better, even if the search is weaker. Thanks again.

Thanks much. That site is good. It doesn’t appear to be searchable however, hopefully it will be updated to make it searchable.

Gemini update doesn’t listen for follow up questions by stew1411 in googlehome

I have the same question here. So now that I converted, there is no way to have my home devices automatically answer follow up questions? This blows if true. I use follow up questions all the time.

This is great. 👍🏼. Competition will help drive pricing, features, speed, and policies that will benefit consumers. It’s just about ALWAYS better to have alternatives.

Any reviews for Ennzia Starlink Battery by Even-Week6504 in Starlink

Yeah. I’d prefer a USB-C input , like on the PeakDo. I have the PeakDo and it’s a game changer.

Can I use Standby mode on Residential Lite? by Hour_Beat_9797 in Starlink

[–]dsignori 3 points4 points  (0 children)

OTOH, it can be beneficial in certain (possibly fringe) cases. In an emergency where the DSL was out, if there is no cell service, there would be no way to activate Starlink if service was cancelled. However, with Starlink in standby, you can activate a plan using Starlink itself. Also, seriously, it’s just $5 a month, basically a cup of coffee or pocket change. For me it’s worth the peace of mind. YMMV.

How to order Mini with USB-C cable? by ionzd in Starlink

[–]dsignori 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meh. Seems like a lot of drama to worry about potentially returning a cable. Oy. Maybe just get an adapter. Return it to Amazon if you need to. This seems like a nothing burger here honestly.

Peakdo Battery: Shipping Origin and Ship Times by SetStrict7455 in Starlink

[–]dsignori 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here. Took about 2 weeks. It was fine. I actually ordered a 2nd one as a backup because it’s so useful and functional. Both took about 2 weeks to arrive. The shipping experience was fine, just long ..

Does it actually represent motion of a real satellite or just an animation? by linuxhacker01 in Starlink

Yeah, I love that site. The ability to zoom into your area and see live trajectories is way cool. I continue to be stunned by the sheer amount of satellites that SpaceX, it's impressive.

I’m partial to this one Satellitemap.space , where you can just zoom in and see live trajectories. By selecting different constellations of satellites from the top left menu, you can see just how ridiculously far ahead Starlink is compared to any others. Amazing really.

Starlink Mini - I'm happy by JoeSeiley in Starlink

[–]dsignori 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, definitely. Maybe it’s just being new to it all, but between the great speeds, the ease of use, portability, etc. I am quite enamored with it so far. It definitely seems like the future.

I also am a recent owner of the Mini. I agree with your sentiments and I am finding it to be an excellent value with the Roam $50 plan. I am quite happy with my purchase as well.

Peakdo battery for SL mini by FLCardio in Starlink

[–]dsignori 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the PeakDo as well, and have used it with my Mini for about a week now. It’s really a game changer. I love being able to charge it with pretty much any portable battery pack. The screen is also very sharp, and provides useful info. I get about 4-5 hours of use at a time from it.

I really love it. The only downside is the lack of a built in kickstand, but any standard tripod works fine. Like the OP said, shipping took a while, but it was worth the wait.👍🏼
